Decided to wait to post all of this until everything arrived. Boy, this was the motherload!

To start off, I've been looking for a manual for Import Tuner Challenge for some time now. I already had the game but I wanted it complete in box. While on business in Baltimore, I visited a local game shop that was probably the worst shop I've ever been in, but I noticed he had a copy of the game on the shelf. I opened it up and to my surprise, I saw a manual. He was wanting $25 for the game so I politely asked him if I could just buy the manual.... $2 later, it was mine :w00t:

Also picked up a random fishing controller for the DC for $5. Don't know if I'll keep it but it was a good price for first party.

Next, I ordered a VMU and an official N64 microphone for my Hey You Pikachu game. I played the game for about 20 minutes, and its kinda lame but fun to play with the N64 in a different way. I was surprised it actually understood my deep voice, but Pikachu understands my wife much better.

Just got this in the mail today. I have been waiting to get this game for a loooooong time. Its awesome. Highly recommended. Definitely one of the most unique titles in my collection.

Finally, I decided it was time to start console collecting. I use the standard issue charcoal console for everyday use, but I want to start with the Funtastics. I ordered Fire Orange on eBay and I picked up Ice Blue while in Baltimore at another game shop (Time Warp Media Video Games, hands down the best shop I've ever been in... dude had almost all the Funtastics, Gold, a Jap Pikachu, and a Daiei Hawks in stock.... all mint. holy crap). I also finally got a copy of Daikatana, which I have been wanting for a while now. This is actually a really fun game, reminds me of Turok.

My recent purchases. The Bomberman game is the best on the N64. I am so puzzled as to why games like this never came to the US. I feel so force fed when I run across games like this.

Bought a digital copy of Little Big Planet 3 for $6 to play with my daughter. She really enjoyed the first two a good bit :yeah:

Picked up some more 64 titles to add to the library. Some cheap shelf fillers & some not so cheap but all complete. Paperboy from the US, as it was cheaper than a UK PAL copy. I also have Monopoly & Ms Pacman US exclusives en route for the 64. Once they come I need to calm down on the rampage. I have got my holiday to NYC in December to pay for this month.

Boxed Copy received today. Sold the controller already to my cousin as I only needed the box. There's a dent in the plastic tho from a previous owner putting the cardboard upside down. I can live with that. Can anyone translate what It says on the papers ?

Was expecting this later in the week but I like pleasant surprises. Of course, this game has had a lot of issues since launch so I might not be so pleased with it down the road. Here's to hoping it gets patched to playable levels eventually:

Can't read everything since I'm on my phone (and I'm really, really rusty), but honestly, it's nothing exciting. Just a customer info/survey form (left) and product warranty/registration form (right).
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I hadn't given it much thought 'til you mentioned it so I did a count and I have exactly 60 games for my PS4 now. Admittedly I figured the count would be around 40 so just call me The Proficient at buying PS4 Games Shadow. ^_^

I'll try to get a picture of that collection up soon.

half done. there's color I've never seen boxed (metallica blue, teal, black, white, violet), so that doesnt help much and im not the only one going for it, so that might take while. im in no rush anyway.

And the PS4 parade continues:

This dropped from $50 to $20 so it was a no-brainer

@The Proficient One: that art is refreshingly old school (i.e., the way old BDR remembers the Transformers). Hope #61 treats you well, definitely looks cool!

Picked up these from a fleamarket. Worth the drive again. Have been looking for the boardgame and dvds for a while. Goldeneye will replace my Player's Choice copy. As always prices in the spoiler.

A few game pickups, but nothing really special. Just shelf fillers. I did get a Jungle Green console though! :w00t: I finally have my favorite color. I absolutely love it. I also snagged a Smoke black but the seller didn't specify the damage it had so its going back :( . Hopefully I can get a replacement Smoke soon. He's being cool and offering me a replacement. Sucks to be so close but have to give it up, but I want my Funtastic collection to be in great condition.

Thanks Milage! Ya, but hopefully he sends me another Smoke in good condition. Its probably my least favorite of the Funtastics because its kinda plain but still an important piece to complete the set.

As for the Jungle, now that I have one I remember why I loved it so much. Its such a vibrant color green, and it reminds me of DK64 every time I see it (and DK64 is one of my favorite games). Its kinda funny that Jungle Green is the most common and least expensive Funtastic but its my crown Jewel haha. As you can see, its in the middle :yeah:

Though I'm looking forward to securing a Watermelon Red, as those seem to be a little harder to come by.

Why there's a "WiiU edition" write on the title? Weird.

Here's my last buy.

It's beautiful nonetheless. If there is one must have retro title that I don't have, it's CT. Good for you, japanese edition no less!

A lot of the early third party Wii U titles are ports with previosuly offered download codes and bonus materials offered for other systems rolled in. This one also has Mario-inspired costumes and a mushroom battle mode. Hence "WiiU edition"

IMHO, Namco = Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Pole Position

Oh yeah, I forgot Pac-Man, there's a lot good old arcade games from Namco, I agree.

Tekken with Mario costume, I didnt know that! One more cameo for Mario! :mario:

CT, hell yeah, I looked for this game all my life, The Jap box is beautiful, the game I bought the japanese because the thing is too expensive.
I discovered the game renting it in 1996 (maybe), and love it, it was my first true RPG (before that Zelda it used to be called RPG), and since than tried to buy, never did until this year when I went back to old stuff (SNES and N64). :money:
