Finally picked up a copy of Halo 5 Guardians, nearly a year after it came out. My gaming is no longer up to date and I'm finding I'm waiting a while to get the games I want because my backlog is still so huge. Plus side to that is I can grab them used off ebay for around $20 AUS which I'm very happy to pay Only issue is that when I put it in it tells me I have a 41G update before I can even play it ......With my Internet connection this might take more than a day

Recent Pickups![]() Had a small panic moment with DuckTales, I didn't know that the retail release was seperate from the digital release and expected a XBLA file basically on the disc which would be region free... so I didn't bother to check, turns out they updated it to act like a full retail title, which added region locks so when I put it in my PAL Xbox 360, it gave me a error. However, turns out the game was added to Xbox One BC... I put the disc in there, and because the Xbox One is region free, the game booted up with no issues! |

Well... never thought I'd buy games from an antique store.![]() Like just about everything else in this antique shop (and possibly every antique store I've ever been to), the new case full of video games were either WAY overpriced or fairly priced expensive games/items. However, I did manage to pick up these two wonderful licensed games for what I thought were fair prices. Certainly not steals or anything, but good enough. One thing that baffles me is they had another copy of Little Nemo that was heavily sunfaded and, for some reason, it went for DOUBLE the price I got my copy for. Did two different people price these games or something? The mind boggles. Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle

Another 8bitdo acquisition, the Retro Receiver:![]() This little gadget allows for the NES to be played wirelessly via bluetooth connection. After some doing, i got it to work with my NES30 pro, and got to play MT Punch-Out!! wirelessly and with a thumbstick! After more playtime, I'll post a review.... |

I picked up a copy of The Last Story today. One happened to show up at a GameStop close to me, so I grabbed it. People ragged on it for being short but TBH a shorter RPG sounds appealing. Case is in rough shape so I'll grab a $1 game sometime soon and swap it out. |

I think it is, but somehow I think they wouldn't be able to fit one "season" on one vhs, so there must be more? I mean, eventhe failed Zelda cartoon comes on DVD with only 13 episodes of 15 minutes. One day I will watch one, but for now I do not have a VHS player hooked up. |

What started as a super slow day for video game hunting picked up at the very end.![]() A whole day of thrift store/pawn shop hopping gave me very little in return at first. A Dreamcast controller here. An overpriced Game Boy pinball game (albeit a great one) there, but nothing else caught my eye. More sports and movie tie-in games than anything, honestly. That was until I went into my final stop of the day which I only went into because it was on the way home. There, behind a glass case, were about ten CIB Game Boy Advance games though only the three in the pic truly interested me (not so much Powerpuff Girls, but I liked the show enough to consider buying it). I asked for a price and the cashier called the shop's owner. Owner told him they were $8 a piece but to cut me a deal if I bought multiple games. Score! Now they're not perfect. The Powerpuff Girls' cartridge is scuffed with some writing on the back and the back of the DKC box has a line running diagonally (looks like someone keyed it or something), but they weren't getting a complaint out of me! Not at these prices anyway. Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle

I didn't buy this, but my dad did. He knows I like to play and collect Nintendo consoles, so he found me a working SNES with two controllers, instruction manual, and a what looks to be as big as a poster are instructions on how to hook up the SNES. There was also the necessary cords at an estate sale. He actually found it a couple years ago and meant to give it to me, but forgot about it. Wasn't until we started clearing the garage that we found it. He can't remember how much he paid for it, but said it was extremely cheap. Everything is in great condition. S/O to my dad Pics Spoiler: click to toggle |

Yep, I stumbled across the listing on Amazon earlier this month. I'm finding a lot of treasures on there lately. Did you know that Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 are getting PS4 remasters soon? |

Sadly Off The Record isn't getting a physical release and the physical releases are only in North America, but all three are coming digitally to X1/PS4 and Steam. |

@Matt - Dang, that's what I was afraid of as I couldn't find a listing for it anywhere. @Cabanon - Among The Sleep is a first person indie horror game that first popped up on PC a couple years ago (and was a YouTube Let's Play darling) where you play from the perspective of a toddler dealing with scary things in and around your home and that has a very dark storyline. |

Got a couple of small things to share today.![]() I actually got the two DS games almost two weeks ago and just forgot to post them here. From what little I've played, Teenage Zombies is pretty average game with some funny cutscenes while Sonic Colors was as fun as I expected it to be. A shame I'm just now owning a copy of the game... and it's not even the console version, which plays differently from the handheld version. Of course, finding WarioWare: Twisted! definitely trumps the two DS games as far as deals go. I found this bad boy two days ago at the same pawn shop I found those three CIB GBA games in my last post and it was was the only new addition to the now near-barren GBA section of the store. Since this one wasn't CIB like the other two games, the shop owner lowered the already steal of a price it was going for. Unfortunately, the rumble feature no longer works (which seemed to be a common problem with these cartridges shortly after the game's initial release), but the game itself works great and that's what really matters to me. Hm... maybe I should have asked if they had more GBA games in the back. Whoops. Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle
