Nice one, Red! Still waiting on my copy... should arrive tomorrow, hopefully. @buddy... that one's definitely a keeper! And it might actually bump up in value, as the digital versions (original AND the remake) have been de-listed permanently from all the digital storefronts (Steam, PSN, XBL, etc.) just a few weeks ago. ... and they say digital is the way of the future... Anyways... haven't had a proper post in here all summer long... it felt pretty slow as far as purchases went. But then now looking at these pics, it doesn't exactly seem like that was the case. First up, a bunch of physical/collector's releases for primarily digital PS4 and PSV games... comprised mainly of Limited Run Games releases (including the Octodad tie, and soundtracks for Breach & Clear: Deadline, Shadow Complex Remastered, and Rainbow Moon): ![]() And then... all the other misc. current and last gen. games and fancy-pants editions... (the Zero Time Dilemma bonus watches finally came in!!)

Is the Unravel package just a Yarny figure or was the game included? It looks pretty sweet. Lots of rad pickups, Theo!

Thanks Red!! The Unravel figure actually DOES include the game but... like Sonic Mania, the physical "Collector's Edition" only has a download code for the game. ![]() And to further add to the ambiguity, it was a Best Buy exclusive (I think), yet the 20% discount off any video game (for their "gamer's club") didn't apply.

They're (so far, only) single-run physical print releases of smaller indie titles, available only through Limited Run Games. They typically sell out of their stock of anywhere between 1500 to 5000 copies per release within hours - sometimes minutes - on the day they open orders for each release. They've been only for PSV & PS4 games thus far, as Sony has much more lax restrictions on small print runs. |

Bought a copy online of Forza Horizon 3. Looking forward to getting this later in the week and doing a bit of driving in my own country. Even if they have stuffed all the landmarks up

I'm not sure if this counts as something that should be in this thread since it isn't a game or a console, but I found this today in a thrift store and it brought a lot of memories rushing back. Please tell me someone here remembers this TV.![]() ![]() This is a Samsung GX TV from the late 90's. It has 4 surround sound speakers and a subwoofer on top. When I was a youngin, every target and k-mart in my area used these tvs to display and demo new and upcoming Nintendo 64 and GameCube games. I remember playing Donkey Kong 64 and Mario Party 5 on these things. I always wanted one because when I was a kid I didn't have a tv in my room. We had one tv in the living room sat on top a milk crate with the n64 on the floor, which is where I played Mario 64 for the first time, which was also my first video game ever. I begged for this thing but it was too expensive when it came out because it was made specifically for playing video games. Nowadays it is more of a collectors item. It's made mostly for kids because of the small screen ( see n64 game for scale, and yes that's me holding a lamp in the reflection to get a decent picture) and the doors to protect the screen, but I got it real cheap. It is missing the remote, and I'm pretty sure there was a rotating stand that came with it that I didn't get, but I'm still happy I got to see this thing again and use it for myself. The audio quality is definatly awesome. The small screen would be a problem for most people but I actually like to sit on the floor and pretty close to the tv when I play any Nintendo system pre GameCube. It's just a weird habit I've always had, but it helps me stay invested in the gameplay. It works really well at eye level, like on my desk. It actually works really well for NES Genesis And SNES games. N64 seems a little weird for most games since the screen is so small, it's a little harder to see far ahead. If there is a better thread for something like this someone please let me know. Edited by Shellshocker18, Sep 26 2016, 06:56 PM.

That's awesome, Shellshocker!! I've regrettably never seen that TV back in the day (or ever, actually), but it must be such a nostalgic rush to finally have it in your possession! And (if that price tag is correct) to get it for $10... mega score!! P.S. I think this seems like the perfect thread for your post, IMO. P.P.S excellent choice of game to show the scale.

Space Station Silicon Valley is THE biggest reason I'm glad I got back into n64 about 3 years ago, along with this board of course . So sad I didn't play it when I was younger but at least I have it now. Same with Banjo-Kazooie, Goemon, and a bunch of other games.

Some real nice pickups guys, apart from FIFA Buddy haha but we have already been there... Castle of Illusion is a classic. That is one of the ones I sold a while ago when I trimmed my Megadrive collection down from 30 odd games to around 10. Edited by Milage007, Sep 30 2016, 12:33 PM.

Glad to see you finally got around to F-Zero X Falcon. I've never dabbled in the handheld f-zero's but most fans of the series don't like them very much. I guess if you want a 2d f-zero than the original is the best one. Some great GameCube games as well. Luigi's Mansion is a great game if you've never played it before and now would be the perfect season to play.

Geez I just checked eBay and Luigi's Mansion is up to at least 25 dollars now, even worse for the PAL version. I'm glad I still have all my old GameCube games cause prices are insane. I'd say it's well worth it though. I'd pay that much if I didn't already have it, even though the games only about 4-5 hours long on first playthrough. Yeah it really sucks. Melee used to be like $10 and now it $60. Eternal Darkness was a bargain bin cult classic and now its around $30. I was a dumb kid and threw away my cases and boxes so about half my GameCube collection is just loose discs. If the crack in my melee disc finally breaks I'll be screwed and have to shell out $60 for a new copy. And a lot of the games I don't own and am interested in like Chibi-Robo are expensive too. It the worst part of being a purist and wanting to play on original hardware. I've all but given up collecting physical games for Dreamcast because the prices are insane. |

after searching this for 3 years at a decent price, i finally found it ! thanks to No64DD for helping me talking to this wonderful US ebay seller. Fun story is, he bought this new from Canada when the exchange rate was in is favor. he was glad to get rid of it and amused to see it was coming back home. he charged me 7$ for shipping but it cost him like 24$. gotta give some credit sometimes to these awesome people !
