Try using Imgur as an alternative. You need to work around some things (they do not provide a direct link), but it's easy to do.

Easy to do on iPhone? Need a phone friendly host really.

Picked up a PAL copy of Milo's Astro Lanes! Only 10 off a full UK PAL set now! Then I'm tapping out of collecting. Been an enjoyable journey but monies need to be saved after this whirlwind of a journey. :n64:

I've been using ImgBB myself ever since PhotoBucket decided they were going to charge people to share photos outside of it's own website. So far I've had absolutely no issues using the site on my phone though, like Kamikaze, I'm also an Android user so things might be different for your iPhone. The best part is you don't even need to sign up for an account if archiving the photos online isn't important to you.

Thanks mate! It's an amazing feeling to own this, particularly as I live in the UK. Holding the cart and knowing how much history it has how many hands it passed through back in the day it is quite something.

It has a great story behind it and the previous owner has held it since the 2000s. He's made an extortionate profit on it! It was not cheap at all but I secured it a lot lower than they sell for generally CIB at the moment in North America so I feel happy in that respect. It is just nice to have a real stand out piece in your collection. I am very near a full UK PAL set (6 games left needed) and I have decided I am tapping out of collecting when I get there. Enjoying the amazing achievement I have made and begin saving money harder again.

Two heavy hitters crossed of the list. With Fire Emblem crossed off earlies this year, this is a good year for the gamecube collection.
Bought Skies of Arcadia with trade-in credit at CEX. Paid about €30 or so for the stuff I traded in, so it's a great score. CEX had it priced at "only" €80.
The CDi Zelda game is the second of three to the set. Only the most expensive one left. Paid about half off retail on this one, but the case needs replacement. Again a win!

UPDATE november 5th
Since I don't like double posts, here are my pick ups from todays gaming convention. Between all the commons and overpriced stuff there were good deals to be made. I went in more or less going for gamecube stuff and did well. Passed up on a €100 Gotcha Force and a €100 GBA Zelda Demo. Great items, but just so expensive...

Time for another long overdo pick ups update. Again, because there's a lot here, I'll only get into a select few of these pick ups. Sorry for the bad lighting or any dirt you might see on the carpet. I should really get my lamp replaced so I can see the floor better when cleaning. Also, if I forget anything, I'll post it up later.

Let's start with the obvious bootleg in the group: Buster's Bad Dream. Yeah that ugly cartridge art ain't foolin' anyone especially since the North American name of the game is called Tiny Toon Adventures: Scary Dreams and is so rare that a loose cart goes for over $70 online. Thankfully, this bootleg was a whole lot cheaper and it helped that I got mine from a pawn shop. It's actually my very first bootleg if you don't count that super cheap and easy to break NES clone console ny family had during my teenage years. From what I've played of it so far, it's not Treasure's best game (even though I've only played two including this one) but I liked it okay enough. Didn't expect Super Street Fighter II super move inputs in a Tiny Toons game but hey I'm on board!

What's next? Hm... how about Tomodachi Life? Three years ago (around the time the game came out), Red Shadow posted his copy of the game up here and I remember saying I was very interested in buying the game myself. Well I guess I was just being a no-good dirty liar because it took 3 years and a low price at a pawn shop to finally get my own copy and you know what? I feel like an absolute idiot for waiting this long. The game, simply put, is hilarious and it gets even funnier depending on who you put in the island. You can't lose when you're stuck on an island with Nikki from SwapNote, the FILS-AMECH from E3 2014 (who, by the way, can perform a killer metal song), Jack Nicholson and Flo from Progressive among others all clashing styles with each other and it's the best! I'll definitely be having fun with this game for months to come.

Finally, let's talk about World Tour Soccer 2002. Now I've made no secret that I'm not a fan of soccer (sorry but I just don't like it), so why oh why would I go out and buy a soccer game from what I'm guessing 2001? Well would you believe me if I said it was very arcade-like? Would you also believe me if I said it reminded me of the classic Mortal Kombat games of all things? Yeah you wouldn't get that from the generic cover here but that's exactly what this game is. WTS '02 uses digitized graphics (strange for a PS2 title) and the gameplay is too quick and frantic to simulate a real soccer game. Now, normally, that would be perfectly fine. Many games have been similar to older games before and since. However, the game does a few things that, quite frankly, should have gotten 989 Sports sued. Not only does this game take sound effects and voice clips from the MK franchise most likely without permission. Not only does making contact with another player make them spill buckets and buckets of blood. They actually had the guts to put just about every fighter from the first three MK games as playable characters. Yes you heard that right. Every single one of them are in here. Kano, Liu Kang, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya. They're all here with the others. This is beyond disgusting. For a pretty big company like 989 Sports to just up and take hard work like that without permission is just about the slimiest thing you can do and, to top it off, they pull this stunt too.

Posted Image

Do you see this!? They took the Greatest Hits label for Mortal Kombat Trilogy and just slapped it onto their game disc! Didn't even alter it in any way! I don't like to use strong words but 989 Sports are swine, I tells ya! Swine!

 In all seriousness, though, I was very happy to find MK Trilogy in the case at my local Value Village. I usually don't take loose games (unless they're free) but I really wanted to compare this version to the N64 port I had for years. I will say right now that I prefer the N64 port because the load times on this one were way too frequent but it was nice getting to play the characters us N64 kids missed and, on it's own, it's a very fun game. Definitely give it a shot to see which version you prefer!

Other than that, Mario Kart 7 and Rogue Leader are just cases and manuals I got for free. Don't own MK7 yet but Rogue Leader now has a manual to reach CIB status. The others don't have very interesting stories behind them outside of maybe how much I paid for them but that'll have to wait until I get home. Besides, I got two more games today and I want to upload their pics before listing all of the prices.

UPDATE (11/7/17) And here are those two games I mentioned.

Posted Image

Now this one is interesting. After striking out in a few shops, I went to one more pawn shop before work. Bingo! New Wii and Xbox 360 games just came in but the only one I "needed right then and there" was Rwyman Origins (great game so far, btw). After I paid for it, I turned to leave and my eyes caught the sight of the stand-alone dvd rack away from the game shelves... and, squished in the the dvd movies, was a GameCube case with what I thought was "Pikmin" written on the spine. Once I got closer, I realized it was actually the sequel you see here. I'll take that, thank you!

When the cashier said $3, I was estatic but the truth was I didn't carry a whole lot of actual cash on me. Enough to buy the game but I like keeping a certain amount in case of emergencies so I decided I would just use my debit card. When I told him I was going to use my card, he says "Eh don't worry about it. Pay me whenever." Sweet! But then he changes it to "Actually, you can just get me a box of your butterfly shrimp. You work at the Popeye's down the street, right?" I guess coming in almost every day in my uniform tipped him off. Unfortunately, I was running late for work that day so I told him he'd have to wait until tomorrow. "It's cool, man. Bring them by whenever."

So yeah I just got a classic GameCube game for discount shrimp (we get 50% when off the clock). At least that's what I thought. Fast forward to today and, after making sure the guy was working today, I went to my Popeye's store to get the shrimp. The manager running the morning shift, for some reason, thought I was just on my break and gave them to me for free! When I told her about the mistake (because I'm a dunce  ), she told me not to worry about it. Yep. I just got Pikmin 2 and all it cost me was a box of free shrimp. Never thought I'd see the day when I could make that claim and mean it.

Picked up a very crispy copy of Conkers Bad Fur Day at a bargain price really for the condition. A good 50-75% of what it could fetch in this condition. I also sold my NTSC Conkers so that halved what I had to pay out on this.

I am only 3 titles away from a full CIB UK PAL N64 game collection! Madness. I plan on updating my gallery once I get there. It'll also be my time to tap out from collecting and enjoy what I have N64 wise and share and discuss my journey with those interested. That will be some real good closure right there.

After finding all of this stuff at surrounding thrift stores and pawn shops for cheap, I declare that last week was my best hunting week ever. Sure I've gotten better hauls in one day but never have I had such consistent luck with finding cool stuff in the wild day after day after day. Getting my most anticipated Nintendo Switch game as an early birthday gift certainly helped, too. Thanks, ma! :D

well, I guess that one might be hard for some folks here but I sold pretty much all my nes, snes, n64 games today. all except one: Wave Race 64 because it was the game that I bought the console with. I didnt have much left but enough to consider selling it all and pay off some debt.

I didnt play any of these games in over 3-4 years nor wanted to, so I guess I wasnt attached to it as much as it did a couple years back. I kept the console & controllers tho so in case I get a rush to play, it'll be easier. My goal now is most likely to buy a flash cart for these 3 consoles making it much easier to play that or that game without spending a huge ton of cash on a single game.

It wasnt easy but I needed to move on and let someone else enjoy it. Free time is most likely to be more scarce than ever with the kids growing up, so having a backlog simply on nostalgic feeling was pointless a bit.

Anyway, it's not my goodbye, I'll still be here talking anything n64 related, that console is too much fun for me to let go.

I'm pleased that Cabanon kept Wave Race 64. I don't blame him either as it's held up really well. Even though I own the drop-dead gorgeous WipEout Omega Collection for my PS4, which not only looks like a tech demo but also has some of the finest controls of any racing game I've ever played on any system, I still believe that Wave Race 64 can hold its own against it. :o

It's a testament to the quality of this site, however, that even though Cabanon sold off his collection he still wants to hang around here. :yeah:

thanks. it's also that I dont have any desire to play them as well. I am nostalgic about my N64 but I honestly dont feel like playing it. I used to complete the entire Donkey Country on SNES annually, but I havent played them in over 5 years. no particular reason, I guess I just moved on or I'm way too focused right now to play my backlog DLC in Guitar Hero/Rock Band; I have like 2-3 years to go still lol so much done but so much more to do.

The latest Pokémon adventure, a beloved Star Wars classic and a SNES game I should have bought months ago now enter my collection.

Posted Image

I had Pokémon Ultra Sun pre-ordered and went by GameStop this past Friday to finish paying it off only to find out it was released that day. For some reason, I thought it would be released the day after. Whoops! Glad I went in there when I did. I heard Ultra Sun's story isn't as different from Sun's story as the developers lead on which is pretty disappointing. I was hoping for a new chain of events to happen but it seems Ultra Sun is just this gen's "Yellow Version" with some small things added to an existing story. The game is still sealed and will remain that way until I finish the current game I'm working on. Knights of the Old Republic has been postponed way too many times and now I intend to finish it.

Well, speaking of Star Wars, Jedi Outcast is a game that's been sitting in a local pawn shop for about a week or two but I passed on it because it came in a really beat up Blockbuster pre-played case complete with all kinds of hard to remove stickers. Eventually, after remembering how much people love this game (seriously, this gets as much praise as Rogue Squadron, the original two Battlefronts and the first KOTOR), I caved and snagged it up for myself. Played the first level and wow is this game hard. It is pretty fun, though, I'll admit. My copy still doesn't have a manual but, thanks to swapping with Digimon World 4, Jedi Outcast now has a proper Xbox case to call home.

And then there's MechWarrior. A couple months back, I bought a near complete A Link to the Past (has box and map but missing manual) and a complete Star Fox at an antique shop. With those two gone, the only two SNES games left in the booth were Mortal Kombat (Competition Edition!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: ) and MechWarrior. None of the games were going for much less than their FMV and I already owned a loose cart of MK so I went to research on MW and, while the gameplay footage looked good, reviews for the game were all over the place. I decided to listen to the more negative reviews and played it safe by not wastin my money on what could be an awful game. Even still, I would go back to that booth and check to see if it was still there almost every time I visited that antique shop.

Cut to this past Thursday and, after striking out and remembering those same two SNES games were currently on sale, I finally take the plunge and buy MechWarrior for 15% off. I don't know if the game ends up ruining a good thing later down the line but, after playing through about eight or so missions (on what was supposed to be a two mission test run), I honestly feel very lucky that no one bought the game before me and very foolish for not buying the game myself much sooner. I had a blast talking to seedy characters at the bar/club for info, negotiating pay out for contracts, gearing my mech geared up for the mission ahead and then seeing my preparations pay off by just destroying the enemies. I just wish you could strafe, though. That was a strange exclusion.
