Got a new game... sort of. My Commodore 64 DTV unit arrived; it's a plug and play controller with 30 games on it. ![]() Also got another N64 controller which means I've now got ten: ![]() The new one is the grey 2-Tech controller in the upper right hand corner. I'll be posting a review of that pad, the Competion Pro and the InterAct Super Pad Plus very soon. |

I wish I had a big collection of video games like Alxbly. Have you ever sat down and tried to estimate its value? I really wanted to get Valkyrie Profile 2 when it came out *points at Avatar* but I really don't have the money for a new game. The same is true with Mortal Komat: Armmagedon. The last game I bought was probably Shadow Hearts II, which I got when I bought a PS2 over the summer. The next game I'm getting is Neverwinter Nights 2, which I pray doesn't disappoint me. I'm saving so I can dish out the extra $10 to buy the special edition. |

I thought Chibi Robo was amazing. Hope you enjoy it. Got some new games today. Ratchet Gladiator is really good, and so is Taito Legends (it has... wait for it... OPERATION WOLF!!!!). Not played Prince of Persia: Two Thrones or Viewtiful Joe 2 yet, but if they're even half as good as the games before them...

I loved Chibi-Robo as well. One of the games I'm glad that I took the risk and bought. How much did you guys spend on Taito Legends? I got it on PC for $5 a little bit ago. Thunderfox is probably my favorite game on there... if only Taito Legends had online play. Tube-It! is also very addicting. Last Friday, I went to pre-order a Wii, but they had sold out of preorders well before I got out of school. I ended out with Baten Kaitos Origins and Mega Man ZX. Mega Man ZX is probably the best game in the series since X4. I wish they hadn't added some of the mission type stuff, things like finding agents. Baten Kaitos Origins is a pretty good improvement over the original/sequel. One of the most shocking parts so far is (spoilers): "My name is Geldoblame." |

Taito Legend and Viewtiful Joe were £5 each so they were definitely getting bought!
Two Thrones was only £10 (bargain for a Gamecube game, on Amazon it's still £30), and Ratchet was £15.

Finally, another fan of X4. Though I suck at the game, it's my favorite X game. I bought 3 games, Lego Star Wars II, Mortal Kombat Deception, and Sonic Riders for the GameCube. 'tis the rocking'. |

Of course you do. Everyone does. TS2 used Goldeneye/Perfect Dark's aiming method, which, though the N64 cult does not admit this, inferior to the style used by modern console FPSs. |

I prefer the aiming in the third Timesplitters, but overall I prefer the second one. Got two games today: Pokemon Red for GBA and True Crime: Streets of LA for PS2. True Crime was really cheap (less than a pint of beer!), but I still asked for a student discount. So it ended up being £1.78!

Just bought Neverwinter Nights 2 yesterday. Might have been a bad idea since I have to cover a lecture tomorrow and I have an exam -- and I may have forgotten to do some crappy little paper. Oh well -- they will be sorry when I'm frying them with my maximized fireballs! |

See... Burnout 3 is THE kick as mother ****** racing game. And the best thing of all is that it's HUGE! I've still not finished it! And fast? WOOOOOOO!!! When you get to preview the F1 car... holy ****! And the crash mode... BRING IT ON!!! And then there's Road Rage. Awww man, I can't even begin to describe how good it is. I love this game.
