Here's all of my finds from the month of April. One find on here was something I don't think I was even close to being prepared for.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well no need for the suspense. Just looking at these photos, you can easily tell that the huge find I mentioned in the opening is ROAD RACE, BAY-BAY! BLOOD PUMPING LCD RACING ACTION IN THE PALMS OF YOUR HANDS! WOULD YOU EXPECT ANYTHING LESS FROM THOSE MAGICIANS OVER AT TIGER ELECTRONICS? I THINK NOT!!! No I'm actually talking about King Quest V AKA my very first sealed NES game. Well..., now that I think about it, it's my first boxed NES game period. And I have a generic Blockbusters case for Mario Party 3 (which was empty ) to thank for finding KQV in the first place. The case was sitting on top of a stack of VHS tapes inside a box or crate (I forget which). I began searching through the stack and, when I got to the bottom, I noticed the Konami label on a box in the stack right next to the one I was digging through. Pulled the box out and couldn't believe how awesome the condition was despite being crushed under so many VHS tapes. When I took the game to the front and heard how much the store wanted for it, my heart did cartwheels.Between this find and the PS4 from earlier this year, I'm officially claiming 2018 as my best year for collecting. I know the year isn't halfway done yet but I can't think of a better year than this one and that's counting 2015 (the former best year for me). Here's praying May turns out even better for me. EDIT: Well guess who forgot to take pics of his PSP games? This guy! I bought both Virtua Tennis 3 and Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness near the end of the month. No pics since, at this time of night, I just can't be bothered. Prices will still be in the spoiler below. Prices Spoiler: click to toggle

Another month, another post! Here's all of my finds during the month of May including an N64 cartridge. Plus, a June 1st purchase sneaks it's way in!![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not sure what I'm more happy about. The fact that I own an original DS again, the fact that the Action Replay came with it free of charge, the fact that I finally own my own copy of Beetle Adventure Racing (after begging my friend, who doesn't care for the game, to give me his copy for years) or the fact that I finally got my hands on a copy of Madden '94! Uh... let me explain. My family's initial game collection (back when I was four years old) consisted of six games (or seven if compilation carts count as two separate games) spread across two platforms: Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros. 2, Contra, Faxanadu, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and, yes, Madden '94. This super common football game was the one thing keeping me from regaining my entire initial collection. In my defense, though, it's not like I just HAD to play Madden '94. It was more like "Oh wouldn't it be nice if I found it out here" kind of deals. Still, glad to have it in the ol' collection. Welcome back, old friend. But what's a post without tragedy, eh? Well, for starters, I forgot to add two things in the pics before uploading them. Awesome! Even worse than that, though, is there should actually be two PS1 games standing next to the PS2 stuff and, in a world where I'm not a total clutz, they would be there. However, because I am a clutz, an accident happened and both discs broke because of it. Well at least the games aren't expensive to grab online if I want to go that route. Anyway, all four items will be in their separate section of the price spoiler.Oh and this isn't all that important but, in case you were wondering, the June game is Destroy All Humans! 2. Seems to be just as funny as the first game from what I've played so far. Prices Spoiler: click to toggle

I am super stoked to have received this yesterday from the totally legit shores of China:![]() That's right 150 NES games somehow cramped onto a GBA cart with save states. The game list is pretty incredible, with most staples like all Super Mario Bros. and Contra, rarities like Little Samson, Gun Nac and Recca, Famicon releases like Devil World, gamer favorites like JOURNEY TO SILIUS!!! Did I mention Save States?!? How did they do this?!? So far, the games I've played look great, sound great and appear to run flawlessly, though top level print may be squished a bit. There is at least one useless game, To the Earth (requires Zapper, doh!), and scrolling the menu of the massive 150 game list has cause freeze. But for less than $16, I can't complain too much. |

Bomberman 64 is my absolute favorite Bomberman game. That being said, it's radically different from Mega Bomberman or any of the other classic style Bomberman games you've seen/played. It ditches the square box style of levels in favor of an action-adventure game where you go through different areas solving puzzles and the such with your bombs. Here's a gameplay video to show you what I mean. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Brcn_1urTY8 Anyway, June has come and gone which means it's time for me to show off the month's finds! And, like last month, I'll even throw in my July 1st finds. Let's go! ![]() ![]() ![]() Think I'll focus on the two systems this time. How I found the PS3 was so weird because it was almost exactly the same way I found my PS4 months back. I walked into the nearby Value Village and saw the system there for way cheaper than you would normally find it for. It had a power cord and I was able to make sure it turned on in the store exactly like the PS4. It even came with a dvd of a critically panned movie (this time, it was Alvin and the Chimpunks). The only difference? The PS3 doesn't read games or DVDs. Yep. Found this out when I got home and was crushed to find out that the disc drive and lens were in need of repair. In fact, when I took the dvd out and tried putting my roommate's copy of Black Ops II in, the system fought to keep it out for a few seconds before finally taking the disc in and never spitting it out again no matter how many times I hit the eject button. So yeah I had to buy my roommate another copy. Honestly, had it not been that I can still digitally download games to the system and if my friend didn't offer to fix it for me for free when I move down to Florida in two weeks, I'd have probably thrown this one in the trash or gave it to my friend for parts. On the bright side, I learned that the DualShock 4 works on PS3 systems. Wasn't expecting that. On an even brighter side, I visited Goodwill yesterday and, along with the 3rd party Switch wheels, I found this Xbox in the back shelf with everything shown plus the dvd remote (which I forgot to put in the photo... whoops ). I couldn't believe how cheap they were selling it and wondered why they were practically giving away this set so I decided to plug it in and found out why: the disc tray won't open sometimes. That... is quite possibly the easiest thing you can fix on an original Xbox. So easy, in fact, that even a clutz like me can do it. I then took a copy of Soul Calibur II from the shelf to test if the system read discs and, wouldn't you know, it did! That was all I needed to know. After taking it home (and doing that super quick and easy repair job), I decided to try two games that my other Xbox refused to even recognize as Xbox discs: BloodRayne and Freedom Fighters. On my new Xbox, BloodRayne works flawlessly. I mean not a single issue reading the game disc or loading up a level or anything, really. Freedom Fighters' opening cutscene stuttered some but the game itself (or what little I tested out anyway) did work just fine. So it looks like I have a new main Xbox. Oh and, if you're wondering why I left that easily removable sticker on the system, it's so I don't mix it up with the other Xbox systems when I pack them up.July probably won't have many finds thanks to my move and the job searching that'll come with it. If I come across anything pre-move, I'll most likely post it here the day of finding it so I don't have to dig it out of the box post-move. EDIT: D'oh! I forgot to add the Mario Kart 7 cart which sucks since it completed the free case I got last year. This is becoming a tradition for me... Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle

I've been on the lookout for this guitar for over 2 years now. never saw it as standalone before, rarely just the guitar by itself and never guitar bundled with game. so when it popped up in my search last friday and at this price ($23), I couldnt pass this on. picked it up Sunday hoping the seller would hold it to me as I couldnt make it before that and he agreed. I now have every Game+Guitar that were officially produced on ps2/ps3. missing Band Hero Band Kit and GH: Warriors of Rock Band Kit but I dont think i'll ever see those in the wild ever again.

On a bit of a RE binge at the moment so picked these up. I have RE6 on the 360 but frame rate isnt great so went for the Xbox one version which was cheap. Also decided to get operation Raccoon city, gave it a miss on release due to reviews but again it was cheap so thought I would try it myself.
