Yeah, my games ate up the shelf space where my books used to be, and soon I'll be able to bring my books out again. A healthy lifestyle needs balance, and mine was balanced too much towards gaming.

alxbly, Are you still selling things or are you done? Where do you sell your stuff? I'm always looking for stuff to buy (n64). Oh and those watches are beautiful. |

I'm still selling and most of my stuff is going on Amazon because it so much easier to use than eBay. I've not started on my N64 collection yet, apart from a few controllers. I've not even looked at my N64 games, so I'm not sure what I'd sell... or where to start. I should mention that I live in the UK so most of my stuff is PAL (and probably quite useless for anyone living in the US). |

I definitely agree on Amazon being easier. I use them all the time, also seem to fetch higher prices. But yeah Pal games would not do me much good. I would like a Pal system eventually, but it is very low on my priority list. Well I'm always looking for controllers, so if you ever decide to get rid of some of those, I'd definitely be willing to pay a little more from a trusted person. Just out of curiosity, how much are the Millenium 2000 and Power 100 controllers worth to you. Also anyone else reading this. I'm obviously having a very hard time find these, and I've got a price in my head that I'd be willing to pay for them if I ever come across them, just wanting to see if I'm close to what you all think they're worth. Thanks! |

I would because from what I've heard from friends the game starts you off evil if you don't transfer a save |

The Millennium 2000 controller seems to vary in price. I paid $50 for mine back in 2007, but in 2008 one sold for over $400. I've had offers in excess of $500 but it's not something I'd consider selling even for ten times that price; it's simply not for sale. If you keep checking eBay one will likely show up eventually. There was a member here who was selling a Millennium 2000 controller last year, I don't know if it ever sold: http://s9.zetaboards.com/Nintendo_64_Forever/topic/7155760/1/#new His email address is in the topic, so it might be worthwhile contacting him. ![]() My Nintendo Power 100 controller cost a similar price to the Millennium 2000 controller but, again, it's not for sale. I remember seeing a post on another forum which indicated that one may be for sale for about $200. *quick search* Here you go: http://gametz.com/forum/General_Marketplace/topic/311580.html You need to scroll down a fair bit to see the controller. Again, the NP100 controller does show up on ebay occasionally. The last one I say was an auction that had reached just over $100 still with a few days to go. However, it was in poor condition and I never did find out how much it went for. |

Thanks a ton. I already tried contacting both of them. Hopefully I'll get something back. Ha, $5000 would be tempting for a controller. Man $50 dollars for the millennium controller! That makes me sick. I would probably be willing to pay $500 for the Millennium and no more than $200 for the Power controller. So with those prices in mind hopefully I should be able to find one. I look almost every day. Well thanks again for your help. Oh and you'll probably be getting some questions when I attempt to take apart a joystick, so thanks in advance for that. |

I got Mario Kart 64 in the box (no manual) and WCW vs. NWO world tour CIB and an original black controller with a very tight joystick today for $10. I already had Mario Kart, but had cartridge only. So I sold the cartridge only for 23 dollars. Pretty good deal. Oh and everything is in great shape. |

The Gameboy Micro I order came in today, works like a charm. Also sometime soon I plan on swapping Baten Kaitos, Killer7, and Star Wars Rogue Squadron for my buddy who is going to give me Pokemon Leaf Green and Mario Kart Super Circuit, he already gave me Mario Party 6 for free so I figure I'd hook him up with a extra game. |

I've been meaning to start down sizing my collection and I'm doing it ever so slowly. I get rid of a couple games here and there. I've decided 20 titles in my collection need to go, for the right price of course. Recently found out a NES game I thought had little value, Rainbow Islands ![]() Apparently goes for 20-25 dollars on ebay, cart only, might sell that and numerous other games on there. Wonder how much I can get for my box copy/w manual of Pilot Wings 64, the box is in poor condition though. Boy how my sights on video games have changed in the past couple years. I was obsessed with them for quite a bit then suddenly, poof, my urge to collect just disappeared. I just don't get as much enjoyment out of my, what use to be, favorite pass time. Now when I plop down to play one I just wish I had something better to do with my time. Though occasionally I'll play a game that gives me some enjoyment (No More Heroes being my most recent one).

Probably not much, to be honest. I can understand that; my own life has had lots of different phases where one thing seems important but later it seems less important (for about ten years I was very much into collecting CD's but then that gave way to my games collecting). Recently there's been very few games that I've had an urge to play and I'd identified items in my collection that I'd either never get around to playing or just didn't get any pleasure from owning. However, there's still games that I enjoy and certain titles that I know I'm not ready to sell yet. I'm slimming down my collection considerably, but playing videogames is still a part of my life that I enjoy. Having games and/or a games collection that I'll never have time to play isn't very attractive to me at the moment. |

I got quite a few things today. Makopad 64 came in the mail today along with Gex 64: Enter the Gecko. I haven't tried either of these out yet. I picked up at the store Excitebike 64, Mortal Kombat Trilogy (64), Dr. Mario (nes), Super Mario Sunshine, and a GC mem card. Haven't played anything yet as I just got them. Heard good things about most of it though. Pretty good day. |

I got some more stuff. I got an Ice N64 (from the funtastic series). It came with a few games, most I already had, ice controller, 2 yellow ones, and a gray one. 3 mem cards and 4 extension cords. I needed the extension cords badly. Unfortunately no box. I went cheap. I also got Razor Freestyle Scooter, new. I must admit it looks and sounds like the worst game ever, judging by the box. Also got NFL Blitz and Power Rangers. For the Gamecube I bought Super Mario Strikers. I wish this series would have made its debut on the N64. I don't even care for soccer but this game is ridiculously fun. I got my tax refund, so I've been spending more than usual. |

I just got Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I can't wait to start playing. Not too long ago I got a gamecube for basically free. I had never really played one, so I bought a few games for it, and it has really impressed me. I've only played Mario Sunshine, Strikers, and Melee, but the graphics look really good, I like the controller, and game play is top notch. It always throws me off when it starts loading though. I've only been playing the N64, and I can be playing a game within like 10 seconds of turning it on. The load times aren't a problem or anything, just out of the normal for me. |

I've been posting constantly on this thread. If it is a problem let me know. I got Rocket: Robot on Wheels (CIB) today and also Mario Party 2 (CIB, well now it is). Also Crash Bandicoot 2. I've been having a problem on Ebay lately getting sold "complete" copies of games, and then the game get here and there is no tray that the game sits in. I guess it is partly my fault for not asking, but it just seems like something that should be a given. Can't assume anything I guess. I got Mario Party 2 today, and it has one of the built in cartridge holders. However the one in my box had been cut out. No mention of that in the ebay auction. I had to go buy a $2 wrestling game just so I could have the tray inside of it. I could use a few of these trays if anyone knows how I could get them. Thanks! |

Ha, yeah I know I have. I need to slow it down. Well I have a job (albeit part-time), and not really many bills. I also got my tax refund which was quite nice so I used a chunk of that for some 64 stuff. I also use craigslist, and if I find a really good deal, I'll buy it even if I already have it. I clean it all up and sell it on amazon. I usually don't make any profit off of it, but I get quite a lot of free stuff from doing it. I have to stay off ebay for 2 straight weeks. It is going to kill me, but I have to save my money for a big purchase I'm about to make.... |

In the past two weeks I've sold: Wario World [GameCube] Metroid Prime 2: Echoes [GameCube] Baten Kaitos [GameCube] Killer 7 [GameCube] Call of Duty 2: The Big Red One [GameCube] Star Fox Assault [GameCube] Metal Arms: A Glitch In The System [GameCube] Panzer Dragoon Orta [Xbox] Ikaruga [GameCube] Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King [PlayStation2] We Love Katamari [PlayStation2] Resident Evil 3: Nemesis [GameCube] Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GameCube) [GameCube] Harvest Moon: Magical Melody [Nintendo Wii] And am now really holding off on buying any new games unless I feel that I really, really, really want to play them. I'd love to say I'm using the time to catch up on unplayed games but my gaming time has reduced significantly. I'd like to play some of the games that I keep meaning to get around to... hopefully I'll be able to find the time. I've still got a lot of stuff to sell though; if a game has been in my collection for a few years without ever being played properly then I'm assuming that I'll never find the time to play it. And if I change my mind then I can always try to track the game down again on ebay.

What's with all of the selling of good games? Did you complete them and just can't see yourself wanting to play them again? And I thought you wanted to collect every Resident Evil game...? I want to cut you in half. |

Some I've completed, but most are games I'd never even really started. I don't spend much time gaming these days and I couldn't see me ever getting around to playing them. I don't want to keep games that I'll never use when I could sell them and buy something that I will use. At one point I did, but I'm not really bothered now. Collecting games for collecting sake doesn't appeal to me very much at the moment. Plus, some of those Resident Evil offshoots are not good games to play... Wait until you see how much I decimate my N64 collection... you'll be crying like baby. Or the angriest man alive. Or some other equally irrational reponse. |
