Ah. I've not played the DS or PSP versions. The home console games are all excellent, though. |

I completely agree, Burnout 3 is the best racing game I have ever played without a doubt. The crash sessions are my personal favourites....so much carnage in such little time. |

I want either FFXII or Okami, but I can't decide between the two... My brother is going to try to preorder a Wii this week (yeah, good luck) so I'll grab one of the two then. I hope he can preorder one, cause' I really don't feel like camping out front of a video game store two years in a row. Especially when it won't even be for my system, for the second year in a row. |

I WANT OKAMI!!!!! I went to Rhyno games with my brothers today. Earlier this week I traded one of them my PSP, Micro, and Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for his bass guitar and amp ($800+ value). He traded them in for money for the Wiiiiiiii. Too bad he only got like $130. Anyway, I got my other brother to buy Forza (again) for $3 and he also got Dead or Alive 3 which I haven't tried and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (again), which I ****ing hate. |

I used to own it but it got traded in, along with my N64 and all the games, in 2001. I picked up a cart from a local games store a few weeks ago without noticing the label was torn, so that one can go on eBay now. It's as good as I remember, but I'd forgotten how dull the GBA screen was. Looks like I'll need to be on the lookout for a reasonably priced GBA SP or GB Micro...

Yes, the redundant Red remake is for GBA and is called FireRed. Every game in the series seems like a remake of Red/Blue/Green to me. |

Well, besides LeafGreen and FireRed, they all have different Pokemon and story lines. The story lines are oddly similar if you think about it.

Yeah, the Game Boy Micro has kinda been ignored due to the success of the DS. That's pretty good for me cos I managed to get a brand new one from a store for less than half the price of a new DS! |

I can't believe you bought a Micro. The SP is so much better than the Micro, it's crazy. The SP is less expensive, has a bigger screen, and can play Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. The new SPs even have back-lit screens, which make them as good as the Micro and DS screens. Do you still have the receipt? |

You're always so positive about my purchases, Mop!
I'm in the minority but I quite like the Micro. The screen is amazingly clear despite it's size and it fits in any pocket. And UK prices are the same as the Micro (about £70 instore or £50 on ebay). I reckon if I wanted something any bigger than the Micro I'd probably just end up buying a DS. Here's a question for you good people, though: is DS Lite compatible with original GB games? |

I liked the Micro when I had it. The D-Pad is really awesome. And I don't think that DS's can play original GB games. I can go try an original DS out for you, alxbly, and tell you if it plays a Japenese version of Pokemon Silver... ... I've purchased Zelda: Twilight Princess recently. My brother has bought a Wii, Red Steel (boooo), and Call of Duty 3 (Wii). |

I just looked through the pictures on the previous page, and wow, the GB Micro PAL case is soooooooooo much more awesome than the US one. And the complete Pokemon Red brings back memories... |

It's nothing personal alxbly, I'm just against system redesigns in general, the Micro moreso because it feels like a step back. It's also the third redesign for the Game Boy Advance; one is too many! But if you are happy with it then that is all that matters. Neither DS model can play Game Boy or Game Boy Color software. The only reason the DS can play GBA games is because some of its hardware is very similar to the GBA. The GBA contains two sets of hardware: one for GBC games and one for GBA games. |

The DS contained GBA hardware to run GBA games. The GBA contained GB/GBC hardware to run those titles... so Mop_it_up is exactly right there. I also don't like the Micro because it shows NIntendo's greedy side of things. I believe it's one of their most useless releases ever. I value my DS and I still have the original GBA. I love what each handheld is capable of. As far as DS lites go... I don't like 'em too. Too soon and Ninty has already attempted phasing out the old model. |

I think the Micro's kinda cool... ... a little pricey though, esp. before any kinda sweet discount like that one. |

No Micro for me. It's just not worth it. I love my DS more than any of those Gameboy Advance money milking schemes. |

I think they should have remade Yellow and Gold/Silver. I got used to the fancy graphics of Ruby/Sapphire and such, and Yellow and Gold/Silver were the best games. I can't play them because if you look real close on the game, they changed like items and pokemon options during battle. Not exactly sure which two are changed, but it is extremely annoying now that I got used to the newer way. |

Now that doesn't make a lick of sense! Why would you buy a remake of a game you just bought? What's the point? Just get one or the other. In fact, what's the point of even owning more than one Pokemon game? They're all essentially the same. Oh well, at least you know the series is just one big cash-in. But still... WHY ALXBLY WHY? |
