WaveRace doesnt suffer as much from the 'outdated graphics syndrome' (not unlike 1080 Snowboarding) and the physics engine and control mechanism are both very good as well so it is still very playable today. Same applies to the Gamecube version which i actually prefer, probably b/c it was the first one i played.

the GC version is one of the few games where i appreciate the force feedback because it is so well implemented it really adds to the immersive experience.

Don't forget that they had re-released Wave Race 64 in Japan after the rumble pack was introduced... I think I played through the entire game again after I got a hold of a copy of the "Shindou" (rumble) version, and I agree that the force feedback adds SO MUCH to the immersion!! In fact, much more so than the other "Shindou" re-release (Super Mario 64)!
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

ooh, i forgot to mention that i sold a Banjo-Kazooie and Yoshi's Story cartridge today.

And i "won" the auction for a free N64 Flight Force Pro joystick set, just have to pay for the shipping.
They're probably not really worth much more than a 10 cent stamp but hey, it's another new item for the collection so i'm happy. I have never seen them before so they're probably not that common here in the Netherlands.

I recently bought Vigilante 8, Road Rash 64, Dr. Mario 64, and Golden Nugget 64. All four are amazing. We've seemed to have the most fun with Golden Nugget 64 for some reason or another. I tells ya, that Black Jack table is addicting as anything.

Vigilante 8 2-player rules!! Still trying to get 2nd offense as I've never played it.

Wave Race 64 is also a very good buy. I've got both the 64 and Cube version and there just as good as each other imo.

Both items are in stunning condition. It would have been rude to pass this lot up what with it being such a unique set.

That Tetris device always reminded me of the very inappropriate device for Rez on the PS2. It's the peripheral that let's you do multiplayer with your wife/girlfriend.

Just picked up Disney's Epic Mickey for AU$74 - looks like a rather childish game, but I love platformers, so I'm pretty excited to give this one a crack.

Cheers,

I haven't seen much lately, hopefully there will be something this weekend.

A week ago I got a great find for $18:

Golden Sun (GBA), Metroid Fusion (GBA), and a Home Theater Subwoofer (Yamaha YST-SW215, retailed new for $150) which fits perfectly with my Yamaha surround system which lacked a subwoofer. I didn't realize it would make such a difference. Now I want to watch action movies all the time.

The great thing is the seller and I tested that the sub works so I knew I would get a great return on my money. The subwoofer I got for $15 and got him to throw in the two games for $3 more. I will sell the GBA games and they will likely pay for the load.

Earlier today i sold a surplus Turok Dinosaur Hunter and Zelda - Ocarina Of Time cartridge to an enthusiastic Nintendo fan in his early teens. :yeah:
Also sold a Super Nintendo setup with 2 controllers and Super Mario All Stars cartridge in an auction.

All proceeds will be re-invested shortly... another fleamarket in about 6 hours :)

UPDATE the fleamarket finds for today (items in italics are for sale/trade) :
Nintendo 64 Rampage World Tour, Charlie Blasts Territory, Perfect Dark, F-Zero X
SNES Jimmy Connor's Pro Tennis Tour, Unirally, Datel Pro Action Replay cheat device, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2

Cor blimey, it's Saturday again already...

Nintendo 64 console, blue controller, R/F adapter, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
GameBoy Pokemon Yellow, Wario Blast, Probotector, Gear Works, 2 cartridge cases
NES Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt

Average yield; the N64 R/F adapter is a nice addition to my collection and the Super Mario Bros. cartridge without Duck Hunt is quite rare to find in the wild and should make a few $$$

The past few weeks have been on the slower side for me, havent really found anything worth picking up. The one game i did grab was Fable 3 for the 360. I grabbed a used copy at gamestop and it like 58 bucks. I didnt even care, i just wanted the game and figured if i found a better deal during the week i could return it...

Well i did just that. Browsing ebay i came across the collectors edition for 64$!!! I messaged the seller to confirm everything was in mint/sealed condition and he said yes of course. Then he referred me to his website where i could order the set for 4$ cheaper. So 60$ for Fable 3 Collectors Edition?? im all over it, especially since i spent 58 on a standard used copy (in which ill be returning today).

And for anyone who hasnt played Fable 3 yet, i highly reccomend it, as well as the 2nd. Definately one of my all time favorite series. Theres just so much to do to complete the game, is awesome!

The limited edition is probably worth an extra £2. Either way, both are still a bargain at under a tenner. :)

What's in the limited edition?

EDIT: Just seen it on Amazon, there it comes with an extra multiplayer map.

Just picked up a haul,

N64
A bugs life
Asteroids Hyper 64
Body Harvest

I was completely surprised by Asteroids. It is truly an awesome retro experience. And Body Harvest is a great game. My first time ever playing that game. Best $3.00 I've ever spent.

NES
Cobra Triangle (one fun game)

Sega Genesis
Task Force Harrier EX
Samurai Shodown
Phelios
Thunder Force III
The shooter genre is my weakness. Just can't resist them. :yeah:
