I got Okami. It's really great, it follows the tested "Zelda" formula while still managing to be innovative.

I also downloaded Kirby's Adventure off the Wii's VC. It's quite fun.

Oh, and I also rented Kororinpa for the Wii, just to check it out. It's a fun little game, but it's kinda short. I completed the standard 45 levels in just under 3 hours, and all that's left now is unlocking the 20 secret levels (I've already got 5) and beating mirror mode. I'm certainly not buying this game at its current price.

After employee discount it came to about $150. Not bad.

^ :D

I REALLY bought it because it was very cheap and in excellent condition. I also picked up Pokemon Red at the same time and that's going on ebay. :) I'm kinda tempted to sell all the Pokemon games except Fire Red, because it's the only one I play.

My avatar is actually the autobot sign, which is the good transformers; the evil ones have an even evil-er avatar... ?

Didn't you already have Pokemon Red? How many Pokemon Reds you got now, 3, including Fire Red?

Why does the symbol of the good transformers look like somebody who cries tears of blood?

Yeah, but at least one of them will be getting sold. I'd much rather play Fire Red than Red, it just looks so much better and has quite a few nice new features.

Dunno why the autobot sign looks so sad. :(

I have Oblivion for PC. My play clock is about 120 hours. It is slightly addictive.

Good, maybe you can give me some pointers. I'm only a few hours in and I can't be bothered having to replay the whole game if I've chosen a bad mix of class/star sign/race.

Nor can I be bothered reading GameFAQs endless guide to it all.

Time for an Oblivion topic, me thinks. <_>

No, I've been waiting for it to fall in price (it only came out in the UK in February). I'll probably end up getting that and Final Fantasy XII at the same time.

The game is worth it for the speederbike on Endor level alone. ^_^

Yeah, the speederbike bit was pretty good. Shame about the generic space battles and the dodgy on-foot sections.

Got three new games; Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz (Wii), Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter (360) and Dead Rising (360). Banana Blitz is good fun, I'm enjoying it a lot. GRAW is also pretty sweet... and it looks **** hot! Not played Dead Rising yet, but I'm looking forward to it. :D

Decided to have a bit of a clear out so I traded in:

  • Splinter Cell Double Agent (Wii). The wii version is awful, but there wasn't much I could do because it was a present. Ah well, it's gone now.
  • Need For Speed Carbon (PS2). Carbon was okay, but it's not as good as Most Wanted. It's very similar to Most Wanted, but just not as good.
  • Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (PS2). Bought this for San Francisco Rush 2049, then bought SFR 2049 for the N64. So no need for this.
  • True Crime Streets of LA (PS2). Got more for trade in value than I actually paid for the game!
  • 007 Everything or Nothing (Gamecube). Another EA Bond game. "Oh, but alxbly, it's 3rd person" I hear you cry. 3rd person was only a move by EA to try to stop the Goldeneye comparisons. Play one EA Bond game and you've played them all. Make that one TWINE and you've played the (first and) best EA Bond game...
  • Far Cry Instincts Predator (Xbox). Pretty much the same as Far Cry Instincts (which I haven't finished yet. If I ever feel the need to play more Far Cry Instincts then I'll buy the 360 version.

Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (PS2). Bought this for San Francisco Rush 2049, then bought SFR 2049 for the N64. So no need for this.

You should get the Dreamcast version, it's the best. ^_^

The version in Arcade Treasures 3 was the Dreamcast version but ported to the PS2. The Dreamcast version is pretty easy to find though, and very cheap... but since I don't play SFR 2049 very often I'll just stick with the N64 cart for now.

I know that, I have MAT3 for GameCube. That's how I know the DC version is best. ^_^
