I purchased Battlefield 3 today from EA.com for 29.99. I am gonna trade my 2 extra Mario Kart ds games to "pay" for it. Also, on a cool note - While visiting my mom in Oklahoma 2 weeks ago, I located all the original boxes for my N64 games and brought them home with me. I am pretty sure they are all accounted for, even a few I traded to my brother. On the uncool side of things, I could not locate my old Nintendo Power magazine collection

Iv been buying retro games that I used to own. So far I got Zelda Oot-$9 Starfox64-$9 Already received these. Playing Oot now. Final Fantasy VIII GH (also have the strategy guide) Dragon Quest VIII Kingdom Hearts (no manual) Kingdom Hearts II Final Fantasy X (no manual) all square games I got for $30 Also got my friend to get me Dark souls PS3 on amazon for $35 so I have to cut him a money order for that. I also have a super smash bros cart for $10 that's pending though I hope it goes through. Ill probably get about 2-3 more N64 games I want and that will be all my gaming money for awhile to come. I consider I got good deals. I had to shop extra wisely since I was so budgeted. Edited by needler420, Nov 25 2011, 09:42 PM.

I only ended up with 15 of the boxes turns out. i am missing another 10 or 11. The stack on the left is the games i still have or have bought again. the taller stack is the games i traded to my bro for a gun and a knife. ![]() ![]() I know I am missing the boxes for Resident Evil, Top Gear Rally, Extreme G to name a few. I have the boxes for Goldeneye & 1080 again from when I bought them again. I know I am missing more, just haven't tried to figure out the others yet. I also found My boxes for Pokemon Red and Yellow as well as a Gameboy game case! Also found an old Nintendo Power promotional VHS

Last week my main competitor snatched away a lot of interesting loot from "my" fleamarket. This made it clear to me that i had to get there a bit earlier so this morning i got up at 7.00 and scootered my way to the marketplace. First thing i saw was someone else buying a boxed Super Nintendo and i feared the worst. But soon after i spotted another boxed SNES! The box was quite tatty but it also held a boxed game and the price was low so i bought it. Little while later i picked up a complete Gamecube set with some great games. When i made my second round, the guy who sold me the boxed SNES had another SNES for sale. No box but 3 nice games so i bought it as well. All in all it was well worth getting up in the middle of the night for this ![]() NES clear QuickJoy NI Megastar SV-333 joystick (as new, looks unused) SNES 2 consoles (1 tatty box), 4 controllers, 2 psu, 2 r/f cable, Super Mario All Stars, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Super R-Type, Legend, Pitfall - The Mayan Adventure Gamecube indigo console, 2 indigo controllers, psu, A/V, memory card, HipGear controller, GBA link cable, Mario Kart with Zelda Collector's Edition bonus disc, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Starfox Assault, Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles, Spongebob Squarepants - Battle For Bikini Bottom (all CIB) ![]() ![]()

it is available for sale or trade BTW coz i already have both. I was happier to find the Final Fantasy game. I'll probably never play it but its pretty hard to find and already quite valuable. Luck? Yeah, the kind of luck that comes to you when you keep at it, week after week. Sooner or later, one day you will find something really good. But you have to wade thru a lot of trash to get there. It's almost like an adventure game! ![]() |

Picked up these today from GameStop: Super Mario Galaxy - $18 Sonic Colors - $18 Kirby's Epic Yarn - FREE 4 - 3 Month Xbox Live Passes (On sale for $12 each, so it was cheaper to get 4 of them rather than a single 12 month pass) |

amazing... was it a buy 2, get 1 free deal? You'd be hard pressed to find either the Mario or Kirby game for less than 40 EURO (about 53 bucks) over here More fleamarket finds! Or how everything that glitters is not gold... I made a big mistake; i did not consult my collecting database when i bought the SNES games so i have ended up with two duplicates. All four carts are pretty rare so they should not be too difficult to sell on. A boxed Lynx is an incredible find of course BUT it doesnt work and i paid a bit more than i really wanted. Woe is me! SNES SeaQuest DSV, Test Drive II - The Duel, Hole In One Golf, International Tennis Tour Atari Lynx console (CIB), RoboSquash, Batman Returns + manual, Crystal Mines II, Shangai (CIB), Scrapyard Dog (CIB sealed!), Scrapyard Dog + manual/poster. ![]() Edited by Mk II, Nov 27 2011, 05:25 AM.

Not a buy, but more reclaiming - In addition to those game boxes and Gameboy game case, I also found my original Gameboy and accessory carrying kit, a Card Shark 2 game pouch, my Perfect Dark and Mission Impossible manuals, Glover controller instructions, several late 90's EGM's (including #100 ), and a RAYMAN 2 promotional VHS! I have not dug everything out yet. I will post more if I find that I missed something! I forgot, My Super Gameboy for SNES! Too bad I no longer have my SNES

N64 collection completed 7/29/12
|
I went with a group of three other people on Black Friday, and this one place was doing this thing where the more money you spend, the better deals you will get. These guys bought mostly new titles, like Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Saints Row 3, Uncharted 3, etc. Since there were three of them buying one each, that's a lot of money being pooled into the pot! I didn't pitch in a whole lot, but I was the driver, so I got first picks. It's like a rule we all have about whoever's driving. Anywho, I was able to get Assassins Creed and Driver San Francisco for free (I paid for Tony Hawk Ride, which was only $10). One of my friends got Sims 3 Pets for free and gave it to me. Unfortunately, this was right after I bought that for $25 (half price) over at Best Buy. So now I have two copies. I'm throwing one of them up on eBay in a few days for $40 ($10 less than it sells in stores now). That's mostly because another friend of mine spit his gum into my receipt, so I can't return it. MGS HD Collection was on sale for $35, so that's where the $45 comes from. I probably shouldn't have put both Sims games in the picture without specifying that I'm getting my money back on the one I bought.

Gamestop is having a buy 2 get 1 free on all preowned items, so I paid for Sonic and Mario, and got Kirby free. They were originally all $18. The sale ends tomorrow I believe. They are also having a VERY good deal on WII Remotes for all the USA folks here. Buy 2 get 1 free, but they are also 50% off. so you can get 3 used wii remotes for $30 |

Excellent news, ddr2nite! Congratulations on achieving this milestone. Now it's only the Watermelon Red controller you need, right?
i dunno yet, i'll have to take a look-see. The power LED doesnt come on when i use a mains adapter. I will have another go with batteries. UPDATE It works! I inserted a fresh set of batteries and lo and behold, it booted up the game Mind you: even a broken Lynx has some value, ive already sold a couple in the past. And im very excited about the box which is in very good condition for it's age. Plus the games of course, there lies the real collectors value in a find like this. What are the odds of finding a sealed Lynx game on a fleamarket? Very close to zero IMHO Edited by Mk II, Nov 28 2011, 01:53 PM.
