Im not sure I know what you are talking about, lol.
I remember the first time I saw that, I wouldn't sleep with the camera in my room.
We all share a common fear. Nothing in this world is more frightening to a kid than when your own best friends (Nintendo) turn against you like that.

Anywoo, ive received a small package today with two games i bought online because they were very cheap and still missing from my collection: Pit Fighter (SNES) and Konami Hyper Soccer (NES).

package of the day

http://i489.photobucket.com/albums/rr251/CabanonGH/N64/20120112_081038.jpg

controller was 5$, very loose joystick but working no problem
tremor pack 5$
GT racer 64 5$
mario bros 3 5$
Lolo 2 17.5$
lolo 3 17.5$

60$ shipped to my door.

lolo 2 & 3 are worth much more than that, especially lolo 3, thats why i grabbed the other title so the shipped would be worth it.

Forgot to post yesterday but I received a Dreamcast with cables and controller (which so far isn't working) and the seller threw in a free copy of Sonic Adventure (disc only).

The controller is the only thing not working, the rest is fine and I have a controller from my previous DC so not a big deal to me.

Got an original Xbox memory card for free today, not really sure what to do with it though. Since the Xbox seems to already have a ton of internal memory.

Ah, I suppose it could be useful in that case. Even though the only original Xbox game I'd play with friends would be Halo: CE or Halo 2 now.

Got two N64 controllers today (Grey and Extreme green). The green one had a bad cable so I was gonna switch out the cables and the end caps but for some reason they both fell apart when I tried getting them off (the other 3 I have came off fine  ). Back to the drawing board.

Ive never seen anyone effectively take the end caps off without breaking them

ditto... AFAIK they were designed to be like that; probably to discourage tampering and possible damage.
Nintendo did the same thing with the (S)NES controller plugs.

Anyhow, ive sold a "The Polar Express" game for Gamecube and two MSX carts.

And i have succesfully integrated a label printer in my homegrown "point of sale" software.
Now i can print barcode stickers for my stock and fancy shipping labels with just one or two mouseclicks :yeah:

Picked up Mortal Kombat 1 (snes) ,Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and Star Fox(ya i know shoulda got this a while ago). The n64 carts were dirty as hell but the price was right at 3$ a piece.Took them apart rubbing alcohol everywhere but the labels and cleaned the contacts.look pretty good now.Looked like someone blew smoke straight on them for years and that someone kept them in a bag of pretzels.
My systems-nes,snes,N64,Playstation,PS2,PS3 One of these days ill get around to getting a picture of everything.

I received a copy of Twisted Metal 2 today. The disc has some scratches and the case is cracked and it is a Greatest Hits copy, but I'm glad to have my favorite TM game back in my collection!

TECMO SUPERBOWL 2012 arrived today!!! It rocks. May be better than the original (heresay, I know) b/c like the real NFL, there are so many faster stronger players than 20 years ago. Nearly every team has offensive weapons galore.

(This is a repro for NES. A free download is available on the web for PC, but several site sell it burned to an actual cart with a custom label).

i ran into a Microplay store today and what a surprise i got. i've never ever seen one of these in 10+ years at this store.

Super Mario 64 Million's Seller Edition CIB

for 14.99$+tx

what a joke. i saw the price. i asked if it was complete and the guy said "yeah it is. we were so pleased when the guy brought it and we saw the box. we knew it'd sell" to understand, they rarely even buy ps2 games but the 1st party title from any nintendo console, they buy it because they know it sells good. it had stickers on both side but i asked if he knew how to remove them and said "yeah no problem" he removed them without a hassle, leaving no marks and all. it did had a price sticker probably from the glory days of n64 that said "34.95$". honestly, i thought they would ask that price more than the one i paid. i tried to stay calm as much as possible and bought it, left the store and smiled to my wife and said "i made a deal" and said "you're a geek and a forever childish video game addict". i happily said "yes" with a huge smiled on my face. end of story.

Bought three separate pair lots:
Viewtiful Joe 1+2, Super Monkey Ball 1+2, and Pikmin 1+2 all for 40 dollars total in very good condition. Great deal considering they're all original non-players choice, and a nice foundation for any GameCube game collection.

Edit: Just bought Metroid Prime 1 + 2 for 20 dollars also.
