is the Shadow Man/South Park poster really from this game?

Probably yes. Acclaim (like Nintendo) had a habit of promoting their other releases by stuffing the box with catalogs, posters etc.
check the code number, i have the same poster and it should be written "NUS-NT2E-USA" at bottom right corner if im right.

Dam dude where do you manage to find a lot with 80 something boxes. I swear I'm on every single video game forum and i can't find s**t for deals.

Still waiting to hit the used market. Flea market, thrift store, garage sales.

CIB collection id normally say isn't worth it but when you get lots like that its questionable.

What did you pay for the lot had to be at least $120?

eBay, he was selling them in a 7 day auction but I managed to convince him to end it about 10 hours after he listed them

Compliments to him for the insanely fast delivery, and it fits great into my copy of CBFD, where it belongs, ha.

Also I've been building a Metroid collection as I've recently became obsessed with the prime series and revamping of the original 2D platformers Zero Mission and Fusion. Fantastic games, all rated near perfect by IGN, super fun and they are a solid experience. Sounds strange but Metroid Prime's a game that really makes you appreciate level design, it's phenomenal.

that first section where you have to escape thru the tunnels is the most claustrophobic and adrenaline-pumping experience ive ever had in a game.
Well, save Pac-Man of course :)

LURVE the statue BTW, really crowns the collection!

I've done something very silly or clever today... came across a shop that still had a few so ive gone ahead and bought a second limited edition Zelda 3DS. :yeah:

It will remain factory-sealed and i will pack the box in several layers of bubble-wrap, then i will put it in another box that will be papered over and taped shut.
And I will stick a label on the box that says "do not open before 2025". I'll be rich! :)

On a related note this also means i feel free to open my own Zelda 3DS and enjoy its magnificence (and use those PIN codes!)

you should send it to VGA instead of all these bubble wrap. it would look clean as hell in a custom acrilyc box. ! no dust, no damage ever, plus it could be the masterpiece of your game room !

I guess two-way shipping + their charges would be a lot of money.

Perhaps i'll fashion my own acrylic box. Or maybe i should start a local VGA branch :)

VGA atm is a rip off to me. Appraising games is too new. You pretty much never can sell at the appraised quote you get.

Its bad enough with trading cards, coins and comics. Grading games atm is still kind of a joke.

Normally when you factor in all the costs by the time you go to sell you'd just be breaking even.

Today's arrival:

Wasn't even aware of the existence of a Limited Edition RE4 on PS2 until I found this one on eBay. It has the game, a making of DVD, a numbered laser cel of Ada Wong and a BradyGames Resident Evil Prologue booklet. It has a nice steelbox case as well. I was worried about picking it up because the seller had a feedback score of 1 but here it is and it is really nice.
