Yeah I want the banana sleeve, lol.

And could you perhaps tell me the exact issue out of N64 magazine the perfect dark came out of?

Anywoo, did you enjoy my pictures?

Pictures were awesome! :yeah: Thanks a lot for sharing. Still waiting/willing to help you out as a maildrop here in the US, and I still got a bunch of Nintendo Power magazines saved for you too.

I'll be opening a "store" here shortly in the for sale section and listing a ton of stuff. Hope you guys are ready for it... break out the piggy banks! :money:

im not sure, it doesnt say anything on the poster itself. probably not from one of the issues i have.
When i picked up these mags, i also slipped some loose posters in the stack :)

As far as i can tell, this poster was included in #34, i havent seen it mentioned in the issues i do have.
Here's a page with all the covers by the same artist: N64 Mag covers. Issue #34 mentions a double-sided Perfect Dark and Pokemon poster but the designs shown on the cover are different from the actual poster. But most magazines hae a two or three month lead time so that's not too surprising.

It was made by Wil Overton, a British anime/manga artist. He has worked for a number of UK games magazines, including Super Play and N64 Magazine.
He currently works at Rare (cf. Perfect Dark Zero) and is an illustrator for NGamer magazine.

depending on condition i'd say somewhere between 150$ and 250$ for a complete CIB set.

the blue and white console was released in PAL-land, too, so I would personally buy only a red and white console from Japan...
:n64: = :)
Always many PAL games for sale:

No, it's actually more common because it was also release in Europe (PAL). The blue/white was in Europe and Japan while the red/white was only in Japan.

The value of the red/white version ranges between $125 to $150 depending on the condition and if it comes with a box. Typically I've seen them boxed, not too many loose unboxed ones floating around EBay. Even then, they're not THAT hard to get a full boxed version.

Wow MK! Great collection pictures. I am envious of all of your Gameboys!

I have been considering buying my gf those little pokemon figures of the original 151 pokemon and display them in "our" game room when we eventually move in together. I like those glass cases for display to show off all of the awesomeness!

Note the Majora's Mask promo poster on the left?
I certainly did! Noticed it in a previous picture where only a corner shows. Do you have a full picture of it?

Here's my Weaponlord collection which includes my CIB copy of the SNES version along with some magazines from the era that featured strategy guides. Yeah that's a rare 6-button (fight pad style) SNES controller in the upper left-hand corner.

Posted Image

Weaponlord is an incredibly deep 16-bit fighting game in the tradition of Street Fighter II . Today it remains one of my favorite SNES titles thanks to its fantastic gameplay and beautiful barbaric artwork.

* Video of the game in action but you really gotta play it with another person to fully appreciate what a masterpiece it is.

ive tried but it is very hard to photograph... using a flash gets too much reflections from the shiny paper and the natural light isnt sufficient

Excellent! Use it to play Weaponlord as the game features amazing music and a combo system that takes tons of practice to master.

Here's a little more video footage:

Here's my list:
http://www.gamespot.com/users/JadeYoshi/games_table?mode=own

I'm at over 650. Unfortunately, that site doesn't let you list variants (gold Zelda games, etc). My setup isn't nearly as tidy and flashy as other people's. I need more figures, plushes, and promo items :(

[Dreamcast
is that a complete Dreamcast set or what ? that's an insane amount of DC games you got there !
It's not complete without Tony Hawk 1&2 :D

it's not even close to being complete, but these are nearly all Dreamcast games i'm interested in
i started collecting for it in 1998 and it is my alltime favorite system - with the N64 in a very close second place

some of the games listed are doubles: mostly shoot 'em up limited editions still factory sealed- didn't mention this in the list at first, but edited it now

oh and i also didn't mention my books and magazines collection for it, even though i 'only' have roughly half of the japanese ODCM and just a few Famitsu DC issues:

with that much games, i would seriously try and complete the set. you probably have like 70-80% of it.

there are around 613 individual, officially released Dreamcast games (limited editions, demos, promos, etc. not included)
i just removed all my doubles, demos, and the likes from my list (355 titles), which leaves me at 260 games, so i own roughly 42% of all official Dreamcast games

i would not go for a complete set even if i were at 80% (and had the room),as i like to have an interesting collection, but not every single piece of crap available just for the sake of it. Plus my home should still look like a home and not like a warehouse (i only have 43 square meters)
Ok, i have The Flintstones and most of the Grauen no Torikago titles, but those are rarer games and i got them for a pretty good price.

i sold most of my systems without any regrets, but will keep my N64 and Dreamcast forever (even though i bought an RGB modded NTSC N64 just a few months ago after i sold my PAL unit back in 2001 or 2002- but i will not make the same mistake again! :phear: )

I feel the same way as I prefer to purchase games I really enjoy playing rather than owning everything ever released on a particular console. I have my own little quirks though as I tend to buy multiple copies of my favorite titles but I generally only do that if I can find an incredible bargain.

Being as I'm an ignorant American I have no idea how big 43 sq meters is but I have a 2,000 square foot house and I don't want it to degenerate in to a video game warehouse either.

BTW, welcome to the forum Johnny Puperze! You've got a very nice collection!

well i thought i was smart as i basically know most metric / imperial ratios, but my online unit calculator taught me otherwise. i was never good at maths so i have to trust that program
well according to it my home is ~463 square ft

yup, but i hope i didn't come across as if i was having a go at people who aim for complete collections (or already have achieved that goal)
i really enjoy seeing nice collections like many on this (and other forums) have- a complete collection in my possession has just not the slightest priority to me!

I'm always amazed at the level of dedication it takes to complete a collection and I'll do anything in my power to help someone achieve that aim. :yeah:

What's nice about this forum is that we have lots of different types of collectors. Some only want complete collections in mint condition while others can't be bothered or can't afford such an attempt. We all peacefully coexist and share enough in common that this site has been growing steadily since I got here.

Oh, IGN is celebrating the N64's 15th anniversary so we'll probably see even more people join our little band of brothers.
