@fetus and MKII: thanks, guys! (I cannot get my head around 1800+ games, wow!)

@redshadow: drooling over Star Wars Episode I Racer poster :w00t: !!! Ads also nice bit of history. Imagine a NIB system with (more importantly, to me at least) a mint controller for only $99? Would make getting whacked $10 for a stupid memory card a non-issue!

Another Half-Life fan! Awesome! It's my favorite FPS still, even though it's not that popular anymore.

I really enjoyed Half-Life, which I played on the PS2. I also love HL2 which I play on the PC. I was gifted the game and some of the content that came out afterwards via Steam by a friend of mine. Very cool atmosphere and vibe to the second game.

By the way, I have those posters because they came in my EGMs. I had a subscription for a few years. I haven't even played some of the games those posters represent.

Finally got some pics. I still have a TON that needs shelving (you can see it in a couple of the last pics) but here is my set up as of now. I need probably 3 to 4 more shelving units, and I'm only getting them off craigslist, so you can imagine its not going so hot. the 3 that I have, I have gotten in the 4 months Ive been looking on there -____-

btw, I keep all my carts OUT of their boxes. I dont own any cart only or disc only games (that are in my collection)

DVDs and game set up (DVDs are not going to stay here, but I have no shelves for them currently) This is also my HDTV, so no retro systems here:

Sketchy shelf I sort of made from some crappy metal shelf and some extra wood shelves from my other shelf, if that makes sense. Hopefully replacing this "shelf" with another shelf:

I like your set up as well. Why don't you have the retro systems hooked up to your HDTV? I think the older systems look pretty nice on mine. I know they aren't made for HD but I haven't had any issues and prefer them on my 46" LCD over the 30" and 19" CRTs that I still own.

As for the Beavis and Butthead, I don't think I see those in his pic, TNT. I see Seinfeld, Simpsons, Family Guy, Heroes, King of the Hill, Lost, House and many more, but not these guys:

I had the Zelda cartoon series for awhile. That was such a bizarrely amusing show. Maybe I should get it again.

Guess I can contribute to the topic at hand with some pics of stuff I found today while going through some boxes in my room.

Yeah, the little baggie is sealed but I've had a few necklaces like it over the years so I can tell you that it lights up from a battery in the unit at the back of the necklace. Kind of a holographic type light, I believe. If I find one of the similar necklaces I'll try to get a pic to show how it would look.

I never had Nintendo Power back in the day or anything - at least, not in the N64 age - so my collection isn't chock full of goodies and rarities. Instead, it's just pretty much everything I played at some point as a kid and whatever else I've been able to pick up that I missed. Almost completely pawn shop/flea market founded. I think I have one boxed NES game total. :D

Without further adieu:

NES

Bases Loaded III
Blades of Steel
Bubble Bobble
Castlequest
Castlevania
Castlevania III
Disney's Adventures in the Magic Kingdom
Dragon Warrior
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Dr. Mario
Excitebike
Ghosts N' Goblins
Ice Hockey
Kirby's Adventure
The Legend of Zelda
Mega Man 2
Metroid
Mickey Mousecapade
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
Milon's Secret Castle
Ninja Gaiden
Pinball
Power Blade
Super C
Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. 3
Star Tropics II
Tetris

SNES

Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double-Trouble!
Earthworm Jim 2
Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Star Fox
Street Fighter 2: Turbo
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Super Mario World
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Nintendo 64

Banjo-Tooie
F-Zero X
Goldeneye 007
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside
Mario Kart 64
Mario Party
Mario Party 2
Paper Mario
Perfect Dark
Pokémon Snap
Pokémon Stadium
Pokémon Stadium 2
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros.
Star Fox 64

I'd include newer stuff, but I was notorious for trading in/losing/whatever Gamecube/PlayStation/PS2 games and such, so my collection of those (and Game Boy games) is rather barren as a result. I also have a Genesis with like two games.

 I specifically chose the name again because this thing happened when I joined a forum he was on years ago. At the time they thought I was an alt account of his. Good laughs.

(I suppose I could have it changed, if anybody wanted, since it's not the only one I use)

shows that you don't have to waste your money on boxes to have a good looking shelf collection ;)

Wanted to preorder The Last Story Ltd. Edition at my local gameshop today but it wasnt listed yet in their systems so i couldn't. bummer!
But the friendly shop assisant had a small surprise gift for me... an official Skyward Sword promo keychain he got from their Nintendo rep. :yeah: :yeah: :yeah:
Made from "enameled" metal and quite large with a wingspan of approx. 4 inch

Hard to scan so it doesnt look as good here as in real life:

These are the strategy guides that I have found so far and that I still own. I've had a lot more over the years but I usually trade them away when I get done with the respective game.
