I remember having the Prima Super Smash Bros. guide, but it got super torn-up over the years. Never did like them, anyway.

I'm looking forward to part 2. I love watching people's collection videos, and I kick myself for not holding onto my gaming stuff over the years. Doh.

Not a game but still a very nice find (for only 1 euro!). It's the original album on vinyl, with unique inner sleeve illustrated with Pac-Man game patterns. The album features eight classic arcade game inspired songs like the title track, "Froggy's Lament" and of course the unforgettable "Do The Donkey Kong!". Priceless nostalgia

That is stellar!! It is easy to forget (or not even be aware of) what a phenomena arcade video games was due to the release of Pac-man (1980), then Ms. Pac-Man (1981), Frogger (1981) and Donkey Kong (1981). Arcades were staples of any decent mall and were a teenage hangout. Heck, my supermarket even had Pac-man and Kong machines at that time. And then there was this unlikely chart-topper that every pop radio station in my area (greater NYC) gave significant play. Those were really the reason, IMHO, that the NES/famicom came to fruition (and into our family rooms). Nice grab, MkII! |

agreed ![]() Here in Holland we never had a real arcade culture. Coin-ops and pinball machines could often only be found in shady establishments almost entirely populated with one-arm bandits and other even seedier characters. Arcade games were used as the "respectable" front for all the illegal gambling that went on in the back. Not the sort of place where a young boy should be hanging out! Needless to say i wasted many a quarter there

Something I found on eBay for about $12. Came from Hong Kong I believe so I'm sure it is knock off material but they still look kinda nice with the rest of my stuff.

@The Red Shadow: I have the same if not very similar set of Trading Arts figures. Mine came with the boxes and I agree they do look pretty nice for the price. |

If they are standing straight up, you got a good deal. I have gotten a few figure sets from Hong Kong, and they are mass produced CRAP! They are warped and can't be bent back, to stand up straight. |

Yeah, these have the same problem, but the stands keep them upright pretty well. One of the stands was cracked though but is working anyway. I will definitely stick with the FFVII figures that come in boxes and not from Hong Kong in the future. |

I really like your setup! I commented on your video but I have to make mention here that I'm jealous of your ability to have such an uncluttered arrangement. Good job!

This room is what I imagine a programmer's office at Nintendo of America would look like... lol. Very professional and organized, only thing missing was Morgan Freeman as the host in an Armani Exchange suit. Love it. Custom cases look excellent together, especially against the black shelves. Cool. |

Cool room, but my only 'issue' with the video was the complete silence made it feel as if you were sneaking around someone elses room.

TNT737373 has the perfect solution. Morgan Freeman should have been there to narrate for us like it was March of the Penguins 2.

as some of you already know, ive had the privillege to visit the Nintendo Benelux headquarters (which happens to be located just a few blocks away from my house) when my pre-release DS had some problems. I was very excited of course but i have to tell you it was very office-like with nary a Mario or Link in sight! They did sit me down in a room with some display cabinets but to be honest my own collection is much more impressive. Of course most (if not all) local Nintendo HQ's dont do any programming, its just marketing, distribution and tech support. Sorry to crush your dreams... Edited by Mk II, Feb 29 2012, 01:50 PM.

Hah. About being silent, I really don't like to talk during my videos. I usually add music, but really didn't feel like editing it. |

Forgot about these but thought I'd share a pic. Two packs of Red Dead Redemption playing cards that were given out at my store when the game released. Unopened.
