Here's my "collection". I really just limit it to the games from my childhood. The red container is just loose gameboy games.

Yea, oddly enough i'm not really interested in playing retro games that I haven't played before previously as a child. So that holds me back from buying any game I see. I don't think I could justify paying a bunch of money for games that have no real meaning to me, just so they sit on a shelf and aren't used.

LOL... i'd be honoured :D

Back on topic: made a detour this morning to pay a visit to Mario's Mall Tour, in search of Streetpass hits.
I took part in a survey about the 3DS (do you have one? i have three!) and was rewarded with this cute plush keychain / display cleanser :yeah:

In reference to the spice orange GC, I think the NR Gamecube could tie with how good it looks. This isn't a very flattering pic, it looks much nicer when cleaned and in a better light.

Nice keychain! My mother is a bigger Nintendo gamer then me so her collection is bigger & better then mine :-8 She has completed DKC Returns many times with all the collectables lol. Saying that if or when she passes that collection will be mine. Lots of mint CIB Pal SNES/N64/GCN/3/DS/Wii games. We rushed to Toys R Us over 30 miles away on the N64's launch so she could buy one for me, She bought one about month later and never looked back :n64:.

Received this lovely eBay purchase today. Dont think it's licensed but it is certainly very pretty and would not look out of place on the lapel of a nice suit

Bought four more Super Mario Galaxy desktop figure gashapon 'eggs' trying to get the complete set... and it worked!
Got the Mario and Peach figurines and two more ElectroGoombas (pssst! trade anyone?)
These figurines from TYE are correctly scaled and finely detailed models with good paintjobs. Quite large too; Peach is almost 6 cm high.

Are you going to pick up the Tony Hawk game for the N-Gage? I picked up a Tomb Raider one just for the heck of it as I'm trying to get most, if not all, of the Tomb Raider games at some point.

Aside from all mobile versions (you know, the kind on old flip phones), these are the ones I still need to get. I don't own any Apply products, so I don't think I'll be getting Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on the iPhone. don't own an NGage (who does?!), but I'll still grab it if I can find it.

yeah.. the operative word there is "Now", you have to act fast if you are sure you want it.
This lot in particular as it was featured on the Video Game Auctions site.

Honestly, there isn't any. Everyone has jumped on the "retro games are worth a fortune" band wagon, so all try and sell at above average prices. Charity, yard sales and pawn shops are you're best shout.

True, Alot of ppl tht DONT even play games or haven't grew up gaming are starting to collect now & it's quite annoying.

But just like any other thing on the net such as hacking, torrents, etc.. There is bound to be a site with cheap N64 games on it. Net has everything. Of course we all on this site collect so why spread the secret right? Silly me for even asking in forum, LOL.

:P

wrong.

in actual fact, this very forum is the #1 site to get N64 games at a fair price / deal.
But it's a two-way street: you get what you give if you know what i mean.
Nothing secret about it.

MK, I think you read my statement wrong, I didn't mean this site isn't a good place to gather & collect N64 games, I'm simply saying there are probably other sites out there wholesale pricing video games that are HIGHLY priced on Ebay, Amazon, Etc..

There are sites like that for everything out there. I've already found a site like that for Snes & Nes games, So when i start my journey on collecting those 2 systems i'll get things at wholesale cheap price for high quality items.

frankly i dont believe that. It always pays to shop around of course and you may find something relatively cheap here or there but in my experience most professional online sellers are pretty well informed regarding rarity and / or value of their merchandise. They have to be to survive

That is true also, Everyone has to survive, But those are not the people you want to deal with for every item you collect, You want to merge more to the people who have games/items in good condition who are just selling them cheap to just get rid of them. Then you want to go to the people who sell games/items for a living for the rare unique items you just can't possibly find anywhere else.
