I've used that controller when Sega Bass Fishing was on demo. Sega Bass Fishing + rod controller = best fishing game ever. Here are newer pics of my collection. I've got 49 N64 games, 52 GC games, 69 NES games, 37 SNES games, about 20 Game Boy (color) games, 5 GBA games, 17 DS games, 4 Game Gear games, and 6 Genesis games. Sorry, pics are a bit shoddy. Hah
Then go ahead and get one and a couple of games! It's cheap as dirt and well worth it, even if you don't get the big bucks games at first. (radiant, PDS, princess crown to a lesser extent, etc.) If I may recommend some titles I'd say get a system + the 2 first panzer dragoon + some capcom fighting goodness if you're into it (SF alpha2, vampire savior, marvel/xmen vs capcom, etc. ?). And voila, best $80 you've ever spent

Both Radiant Silvergun and Panzer Dragoon sell for well over $100. Shinning Force III isn't cheap either. I could afford Nights, Virtual On, Street Fighter Alpha, and a few others, but they aren't the games that really justify buying a new system. However, Saturn emulation come a long way. That route is slowly becoming a stable alternative. Not exactly agreeable, but I really don't have over $100 for a game. |

Yes, it's true that Radiant/PDS/SF3 and some others tend to cost quite a lot
There's still a lot of great games besides these though, that make owning the system worthwile (Panzer 1/2, SF Alpha2, Nights, Virtual On, Sega Rally, Guardian Heroes, and I could go on and on, especially considering the system's huge shooters collection). I can understand your not wanting to put that much into a game, I wouldn't either, but I would for sure _much_ rather having a modded system and burn these few expensive games than go down the emulation way (which, even if it got better these last years, still sucks). Anyway, one way or another, I hope you'll get to play the Panzer games someday, it's really the Saturn's masterpiece
