Scored a nice Mario Kart DS promo banner ... bit too expensive but i just had to have it.

Quote:

I never see any cool Mario/Nintendo stuff like that at Walmart and I work there!

thats strange... most of the Nintendo candy i have is produced / sold in the US of A.
Au'some appears to be the current licensee there.

More tat! Today ive discovered Toys R Us has finally decided to stock at least part of the K'Nex Mario Kart range (one starter circuit set and an assortment of bikes and pull-back karts)
Didnt have enough cash for the starter set so i bought the Bowser kart and i will be back for the circuit set :yeah:
Same store has a number of gashapon vending machines.
Latest addition: Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story themed DS stylii !
Makes you wonder if Toys R Us here in Holland just sells the stuff that is out of date in the USA but im not complaining
Bought two of those and guess what? Got the same stylus twice :D

10$

Today i was walking to the supermarket in my local shopping mall when one of the guys from the game shop tapped on the window and beckoned me in.
"I've got something you might like", he said knowingly...
They had received three New Super Mario Bros 2 / 3DS security gate covers but they got the wrong size and would get replacements.
I got them all, unused and still in their original shipping cartons! And i'll probably get those wider covers too after they've been used :)

Had to pick up some games for a fellow forummer today and couldnt resist this strategy guide, still sealed and on sale!

Posted Image

This shop always has a bucket with promo posters that customers are allowed to take.
Found a Mario Tennis Open poster and four (!) beautiful Pandora's Tower posters. :yeah:

Posted ImagePosted Image

UPDATE Another shop, another freebie... let them know, and stuff will float your way. QED!
Lovely NSMB2 "shelf bobber". I was offered to pick up the game as well - 2 days early! - but they didnt have the pre-order bonus yet so i politely declined.

i did try to keep everything in my gameroom but things have started to spill over into the rest of house :)
Anyway, you're always welcome to drop by if you're in the neighbourhood

UPDATE: latest addition to my small collection of promo shirts is this lovely Kid Icarus: Uprising shirt from the Nintendo Booth at PAX EAST in Boston.

Guess what i picked up today? A huge, floor-standing New Super Mario Bros. 2 standee :yeah:
I slipped the Zelda figure into view to give a sense of the scale of this thing... God only knows where i will put it!

Great setup Brodieman and congrats on achieving that milestone 8)

May I ask where you got that clear display cabinet (that currently houses your Zelda figures)? Or if you got it off a Craigslist, are there tags or anything that says who made it?
