Endure and survive...
Thanks, bdr. I just felt it looks so plain. No flashy custom shelving and what not ;) maybe one day I'll have that stuff. In the mean time, at least I have my games. I have a sega sonic game as well that is not pictured. No clue where I put it. I also have gta sa, metroid, perfect dark, road rash, and other assorted posters not pictured either. WISH I still had my snes and games instead of that crappy broken Gameboy Pocket

Not sure if I ever showed this but this is one of my favorite gaming things I own:

Got it from Club Nintendo last year and I framed it immediately.
Great way to show it off mate. :yeah: my 3 posters are still wrapped tightly in a sealed container. I'll get them framed one day I reckon.

added a nice and rare (?) promo keychain to the collection... made from quite heavy "enameled" metal.
I havent seen these before, think they were possibly handed out to shop staff by Nintendo reps.

I have a man cave I built in the basement. The latest version consoles are hooked up to the 42" LCD TV while the cartridge games are connected to a 32" LCD TV that is also in the same room.

The only other thing in the man cave is my ping pong table.

Here's a picture of two of my four GameCube component cables which are still in the packaging from Gamestop. According to the price tag I only paid $5 apiece for these used. :o

Posted Image

The other component cable in the picture is for the Sony Playstation 2 and/or 3 which I've included for comparison purposes. What's interesting is that the Sony cable also includes the A/V cable (red and white) for stereo sound while the GameCube version does not.

One of those purchases you always put off until it's too late. Not this time!
I sold a N64 console and two refurbished controllers and immediately invested the proceeds in this The Legend Of Zelda Hyrule Historia (hardcover edition) :yeah:
But now im faced with a dilemma... should i leave it sealed or enjoy myself reading it?

Nintendo honcho Satoru Iwata was one of the main programmers on Mother 2 (aka Earthbound) for the SNES. Today on Twitter, Iwata uploaded this photo of a badass Mother 2 sukajan. The jacket, Iwata noted, was given out to the game's staff, and it was the thing he treasures most.

Or you can just do what my brother did and have 2 copies. The funny thing was he didn't pay for either of them. Got them both for his birthday. One from me and one from someone else. He kept the one I bought him sealed. I wonder how many we're produced. Surely they'll be worth a mint in the future.

that's what i would have done two years ago but i can't afford to do that now (and poor me never get any presents!)
Still haven't decided if i will open it up but on the other hand: i will never sell it anyway so who cares if it's no longer sealed when i'm dead & gone.

Finallly, another addition to my budding soundtrack collection... just couldn't resist it @ only 3 GBP.
It came in a cracked case - hence the price i reckon - but i've already replaced that.

On one end of the house, a white Wii U hooked up to a 27" Toshiba CRT.

On the other end of the house, my grape N64 hooked up to a 13" Hitachi CRT (built in 1978 :P ).

This is unpinned?

floorcat EDIT: sorry... my fault, fixed now. (Thanks for pointing this out, Red!) The pin "resets" when a new post has to be manually moved into the thread from elsewhere.

Your collection looks great, action! And I love the differences in game covers from the ones we get here in the US. Sometimes I think we get shafted over here.
