the smaller ps1s are sort of broken but the large one works great these are my ps1 games , there not that great but i got them when i was really young. i dont know where the games to the left are so i just showed there manuals  this is my green xbox to bad i didnt keep the box  these are my xbox games , there alright.  these are my only computer games except insane aquarium deluxe  my ds games are terrible, im planning on selling my ds and ds games to save up for a nes deluxe boxed havent gotten around to getting and gbc games. i did have a gb sp except a think it broke  |

So I collect a lot of Nintendo and Older Sega Genesis Games (All US stuff) Sega Genesis Games:  NES Stuff:  Some of my N64 Stuff (partially outdated pics now):     SNES (but most pics are quite dated) and yes most of the boxed games are Completes:     I also collect the Display Only Boxes and Wal-Mart Cards that were used to promote the games in the mid 1990's. I love SNES and N64 Most! |

Hi guys Last week, I've just passed the 2500 games barrier, it deserved some brand new pictures It's one of the biggest collection in Belgium (I don't dare to say "the biggest" because I don't know every collector in Belgium, but I don't know neither have heard of someone who's got more than me  )First, my libraries :    In details. 1) The consoles       2) The games 2.1) Guitar Hero packs  2.2) N64 games (2 "layers" each time)      2.3) NES, SNES, GB, MSX games (in 3 layers, except the 1st picture where there are 2)     2.4) MS games (in 3 layers, the last 40 are behind MSX games on the above picture)  2.5) GC games (in 2 layers, + Atari 2600, 7800, Jaguar as 2nd layer in the 2nd picture)   2.6) DS and SFC games (in 2 layers)  2.7) PS1 games (in 2 layers)  2.8) PS2, X-Box, Wii games (in 2 layers, the X-Box games are behind and so "invisible", and half of my Wii games are borrowed by a friend)  2.9) X-Box360 games (1 layer, 22 games lent to 3 friends)    2.10) MD and MD32X games (in 3 layers) (MegaDrive = Genesis in the USA)   2.11) Saturn games (in 2 layers)  2.12) MCD, DC, NCD, and some misc. games (in 2 layers) (Mega CD = Sega CD)   2.13) PC games (in 2 layers), some handheld consoles and accessories (in "Giant Tetris" mode)  3) The magazines (a bit more than 700) Because it's also a part of video games collecting     3.1) Game guides

Sorry the EVO Box is not complete...I bought it on Ebay as the box only with the cardboard insert for a price since it is so ridiculously rare. If I ever see the instructions for it for a decent price I will pick that up too since complete copies of EVO go for maybe $200+ |

So recently I took a (very general) tally of all the games I own (I actually just wanted an idea of how many games I had played). But I have somewhere around 1100 games. And I'm a bit embarrassed at what percentage of them I've actually played. BUT... I suppose it might be excusable, since I was (still am?) a collector first, and a player second... though I'm slowly evolving to become more of the later. Anyways... I snapped a pic of just the games for the 3 consoles of this current generation...  And in case you're wondering, the piles are divided into those I haven't played (on the left), and those that I have played (on the right). Basic run-down is as follows... (and numbers may be off by a few) SNES: 58 N64: 203 GBA: 17 GCN: 60 DS: 228 DSiWare: 3 Wii: 111 VC/WiiWare: 30 Xbox: 70 360: 30 XBLA: 12 PS1: 5 PS2: 68 PSP: 41 PS3: 84 PSN: 86 ... Not sure exactly when it happened, but I now have more DS games than N64 games!

Eesh Floorcat, I'm actually surprised that you have more Wii games than XBox 360 and PS3 games. In the "Games you'll finish in 2010" topic, pretty much everything is on the PS3 or XBox 360. Why have you bought so many Wii games if you don't play it? |

I dunno... I guess I just like buying as much as collecting/playing.  Actually, I think a valid reason is that I've really gotten hooked into the online aspect to current-gen. gaming... it's practically become for me what facebook is like for everyone else... like I'll turn on my PS3 just to answer/send messages & see who's online doing what, and with the console already being on, I'll usually end up playing a PS3 game, or getting invited into someone else's game. My XBL friend list is about as extensive as my Wii address book, so I don't really feel as drawn to turn them on as I do with the PS3... which means less games being played on them.  My XBL Gold membership ran out after buying a year's worth and playing for no more than a few hours ... so I haven't felt compelled to renew it. Nintendo obviously makes it intentionally difficult to game online with friends. Thus I've stuck with the PlayStation Network.  That, and I've become a bit of a (completionist) trophy-whore... heh.

Here's my current gen games: I've sold a lot of PS3 and Wii games recently and have only really been buying games for the 360 (some of which were games I owned for PS3), so it totally dominates my collection. Ten of the 360 games haven't even been played yet... but I'll give them all a quick blast over the next few weeks. |

The top two shelves are in alphabetical order, the small number of 360 games on the third shelf are the games I currently have installed/am playing. Separating them out helps me focus on finishing a handful of games.

wow some of these collections here are gynormous! Regarding mine, I do collect for most of the other systems, and as a result (with a few decent exceptions) I guess I tend to spread myself pretty thin with the amount of games for each console. Anyway, here are some pics I had taken earlier on in the year of some of my collection. The pics were mainly taken as a kind of easy reference if ever I wanted to sell off any of my stuff and if the prospective buyer was interested in seeing the items. I'll start off with what there is of my meagre Sega collection, and I'll post some of the rest later: (and yes, I do own Shaq Fu for the Genesis  )
