What consoles are plugged in? And what games are in them?

Saw this in another forum and I thought I'd post it here:

"What consoles do you have plugged in at the moment? And what games are currently in each console?"

Here are my answers. Starting from my oldest console:

SNES connected to a CRT TV with S-Video: In it I have the fighting game masterpiece Weaponlord

N64 Connected to a CRT TV with S-Video: Mario Tennis which is proving surprisingly difficult to beat.

Playstation 2 connected to a CRT TV with S-Video: Crash Team Racing which is actually a PS1 game.

GameCube (1) connected to a CRT TV with S-Video: Super Smash Bros. Melee

GameCube (2) connected to a LCD TV with component cables: F-Zero GX

Xbox 360 connected to a LCD TV with HDMI: Halo 4

Wii connected to a LCD TV with component: Mario Kart Wii

My CRT TV is a 20 inch (480i) flat-screen Toshiba and my LCD is a 40 inch (1080p) Sharp Aquos which also has a Sony 5.1 surround sound system connected to it.

Bane: Any reason why the Wii is the only system connected to the plasma set? Also, how does your N64 look on your LCD and what kind of connection are you using? Sorry to be such a nerd but I really like to know these things.

Grizz: I use HDMI cables for my PS3 and XBOX 360 and just the normal A/V Cables for my N64, Wii, SNES and PS2, the picture is actually pretty good, its a nice clear crisp picture and not really pixely, The reason the Wii is set up on the Plasma is because i have all my other systems set up in my room on the smaller LCD TV, but i have the set up because i was playing the Wii the other week with my Dad and sister and her Bf and the sports game on the Wii is really the only game my family likes playing all together so i keep it set up out there and just pinch it back to the room when i wanna play solo. :yeah:

This seems like a fun thread.

SNES hooked up to a Sharp CRT and LG LCD screen, with Megaman X in it.

N64 with Goldeneye in it hooked up to the same Sharp CRT and LG LCD.

Gamcube with Megaman X Collection inside of it again hooked up to the same two TVs.

Dreamcast with Sega Rally 2 inside of it hooked up to the same two TVs.

PSone with nothing in it connected to the same CRT and LCD TVs.

PS2 with Half-Life inside of it hooked up to the CRT and LCD.

Saturn with Daytona USA inside of it hooked up to the CRT and LCD.

Wii with nothing in it hooked up to the same two TVs.

Then downstairs,

Xbox 360 and another Wii connected to a 51" 120hz LCD TV.

For all the retro consoles, I have them routed through splitters which then connect to a DVD player. Then I use the DVD player to output to both TVs at the same time.

Let's see here. In the den (where we spend most of our time) the ps3 is plugged up to our old 25" sanyo. I believe Battlefield Bad Company 2 is in it last i checked.

In the living room, the N64 and Gamecube are hooked up to my 43" Samsung plasma tv. The Gamecube has Super Mario Sunshine in it I believe. The N64 has Pilot Wings in it.

The PS2 has nothing in it, but it is in the bedroom on anotherold 25" tv. For good measure - DS #1 has Assassin's Creed Discovery in it (just beat it this morning),and DS #2 has Pokemon White in it. Nothing else is hooked up, or hasa game in it that I can think of.

Well I only have a regular computer monitor and the ps3 3d display. The ps3 pretty much governs the 3d tv whilst all the other systems share the crappy monitor which is just acceptable enough... Currently the n64 is tied to it but no game is in it

My answer is so lame

Firstly, I only have one television and that is my 46" Samsung LCD. Therefore, all of my consoles are hooked to it. Secondly, I'm much like SicCooper in that I put my games back in their case if I'm not playing them so I will be listing the last game that was in each console, to the best of my memory.

Nintendo 64 via composite cable - South Park
Dreamcast via VGA adapter - Shenmue
PS2 via component cable - Sonic Mega Collection Plus
Wii via component cable - Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube)
Xbox 360 via HDMI - Singularity
PS3 via HDMI - ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection

I thought so too as it lets us gain a little insight in to the mind of our individual forum members. What's in your console and which consoles you keep connected tells us a lot about what kind of gamer you really are, IMHO. >_<

Milo's Astro Lanes god i hate that game and I love bowling. once everyone is done we could expand the thread to totals like the most common game in certain console, I see a lot of CRT action here which is interesting.

I'm not surprised to see so many people here still have a cathode ray tube (CRT) television set up for retro gaming, really. We're a hardcore group unwilling to accept classic games in any format that displays them less than optimally. Besides, my N64 looks downright horrid on my 40 inch LCD.

I've had a different experience with my N64 on my LCD. Everything has looked great except for one MAJOR exception: Goldeneye. >_<

And that is why I'd love to find a CRT with at least a 27" screen. I'd hook up the N64 exclusively to it just so that Goldeneye wouldn't be so :cussfit: dark and blurry.

Using my superior Tetris skill I've shockingly managed to cram 5 consoles underneath my TV in a space only suited for 2, ha so here's the consoles and games connected:

N64 - Super Smash Brothers
GameCube - Resident Evil 4
SNES - Super Mario World
PS1 - Misadventures of Tron Bonne
Xbox 360 - Bioshock Infinite

NES- LCD- Kirby's Adventure
SNES- LCD- Super Mario World
N64- LCD- Conker's Bad Fur Day
GameCube- LCD- Super Smash Bros. Melee
Wii- LCD- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
PS1- LCD- Tomorrow Never Dies
PS2- LCD- Star Wars: Battlefront
DreamCast- LCD- Nothing
Atari 2600- LCD- Megamania
Xbox 360- LCD- Fallout 3

All of the consoles use composite cables except for the Xbox 360, which has HDMI. I am planning on getting an HDMI adapter for the Wii and PS2, and then maybe RGB mod my N64, because it is an eligible model. The composite N64 quality is... terrible, to say the least. >_< It's not so much that the picture itself is bad, but it is very dark. By the way, all of this is plugged into a 40-inch 1080p Sceptre HDTV.

All my consoles are plugged into my LCD TV, via a spaghetti of HDMI and SCART cables. I have an N64, XBox 1, PS2, Gamecube, XBox 360, and PS3, plus my PC is plugged into the TV too.

Regarding the game inside the console, the PS3 has The Ultimate Rapture Edition (Bioshock 1, 2, and Minerva's Den), the 360 has Portal 2, and the Gamecube has nothing in - I've not used the Gamecube in a while, and for some reason I tend to remove a game from a console I'm not using,

There's also no disc in the XBox 1, or PS2, as they both load their games from their internal hard drives, and don't need to boot from a physical game disc, and the N64 has an Everdrive 64 cartridge plugged in, which stores all of the games on it's SD Card.
