It has come to my attention that Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is running for the Senate in his home country of Australia. As we have a lot of Aussies on this forum I'm wondering how many of you plan to vote for him?

Mr. Assange claims to be gaining worldwide support for his cause. I don't know if that's true or not but I can tell you that many people here in the US are becoming evermore dissatisfied with the corporate media which either reports half-truths or outright lies.

Here's a link to Democracy Now's most recent interview with Julian Assange.

Julian Assange on Fighting the International Crackdown on WikiLeaks
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." - Arthur Schopenhauer
