EDIT:

It appears that this is effecting some users but not others. When I posted here earlier I could still see/use the system. Now I can't see them. I've seen reports that other users can STILL see them.

This sounds like a DNS issue to me that is still propagating through the internet.

The staff is working on it though, so hoping to sort it out soon.

I have thumbs, but they aren't doing anything at the moment.

The problem with this feature is that it was written by a third party developer, and therefore gets no support from ZetaBoards. The author of the code doesn't appear to be active in the ZetaBoard community any longer and it doesn't sound like ZB is jumping to add this as an official feature.

where is the image of thumb coming from ? I often see this error coming from an image with a wrong link ie facebook link, shortened link, twitter link, etc.
It was hosted at ImageShack.
