Hydro Thunder update.

Well I unlocked the hard levels easy enough, but those hard levels are dam hard!

Having said that, we did manage to beat New York Disaster and Ship Graveyard in tonights session.
Just Venice Canals to go.
Bloody hard level that!

Good job on blitzing Blitz bluedog.
Love my sports games.
We played the hell out of ISS98 last year.
Got so good we were beating everyone with Greece and Uzbekistan.

Anyway:
Beat Hydro Thunder :D

Once Venice was finally beat (wish we recorded it!) The bonus tracks were easy as.
They certainly saved the best till last with this game.
The Bonus levels and boats are awesome and a great reward for your efforts.
I highly recommend this game 8)

There was no end screens or credits.
But I could still do a pic of the all boats unlocked.

May I do airboarders next?
:)

I shall get a pic or maybe even a vid of us racing in Hydro Thunder when I get a chance.

Fired up airboarders.
Froze after 3.seconds.
Good start!

Hope I can play this game.
Seems it needs a controller pakl to save. Does not say how many pages it takes.
Wish I had the instruction book.

Had great fun with Quake 1 and 2 last year.
Beat both when I was forced to take time off work when I had my appendix out.
Good times!

Airboarders is done. ^_^

Started on Saturday night.
Noticed it was made by a Gaga Communications. Love the Gaga.

Took some getting used to.
Once you work out just what the hell is going on, you find it kind of plays a bit like the Tony Hawk games.
I didn't think I was going to like it much, but once you get a bit better it kind of grows on you.
The bad Engrish and voices do make the game kind of amusing.
Ready...Gooo! :D

I did really enjoy the music in the Lost Forest level.
That classic kinda haunting feel that would sound at home on a good RPG.

I wasn't quick enough to take a pic of the screen before the credits, but you do get a proof on the character select screen where it shows your "MAB" (master air boarder licence)

I will do Chopper Attack next.

I would like to help with posting your completion picture . . . I'll see if I can access your pics via your photobucket user name.

Good luck with Chopper Attack.

Thanks mate, I know how to do it, just not on this bloody phone.

Very fun game already is Chopper Attack.
Hey Italia, there is a volcano on level 3.
I am always going to be looking out for them now.

Hydro Thunder pic to come later as well.

Finished Chopper Attack on normal and Expert. :D

No credit screen again just a spinning camera of your chopper landed with people congratulating you.

Good game as reviews suggested but definitely a bit short.
A good challenge for a while till you get a hang of the controls andhow to use the weapons well.
Good fun, and certainly something worth coming back to for a good blast.

May I do Micro Machines next?

Micro Machines update:

I beat the game on difficult a few weeksvago.

Posted Image

That unlocked the advanced levels, which should be enough to finish the game...
I got through the first few levels but since then work has been crazy busy.
And then we rediscovered our love for Perfect Dark.

Hopefully I can finish it next few times I play.
Pretty fun once you get used to it.
Not as good as Turbosliders though!

Body Harvest is crazy hard! Good luck ;-)
It sure is!
And on hero mode too.
Ambitious! :o

I would like to claim NBA Hangtime.

I have played Hangtime before, it is heaps of fun.
Having a blast in multiplayer.

Yeah, thats the thing about Body Harvest.
It may be very hard but it makes you keep wanting to see what's going to happen next or what new weapons and vehicles you are going to come across.
I still need to finish it.
One day.

Getting close with Hangtime.
Just a few more teams to beat.
We cranked the difficulty up to 10.

I'm requesting an additional month to complete Body Harvest. Truth be told, I wasn't completely sure I was going to be able to beat this in one month's time, but having a close family member go to the hospital for something serious didn't really help me out. With him back out and feeling well, I think I can beat this game if given more time. Even if I don't, I'd rather try to beat it and fail than to just give up on it.
How far in are you mate?

I think I need an extra month for Hangtime.
Only a few games off but distracted by a smash tourney, multiplayer n64 and now KI3.

NBA Hangtime has been beaten! I beat all 29 teams mostly using the Atlanta Hawks (Mookie Blaylock w/ Mutumbo (1st half) and Christian Laettner (2nd half). This game (still) rocks. Very fast paced, much like another classic Midway sports title, NFL Blitz. Arcade over realism in game play, the graphics are 2d greatness, the music is classic 90s hip-hop and the announcer is hilarious. The game is not without its faults. The rubber band AI is frustrating (i won a single game by more than 2 points). And oh boy does the computer cheat with 10 seconds left (like John Stockton getting pushed to the floor on my baseline with 1 tick left, raising up and hitting a full court shot to end the game. Yeah that's fair, lol.). But so much fun, so thanks to the guys here who recommended this as solid N64 sports title and to glennplant for his interesting review of it. On with the proofs:

Spoiler: click to toggle

FIRST POST UPDATED. 212 games down . . . .
Ack!

Sorry I left that game with only a few teams to beat, almost a year ago!
Life, work etc, blah blah, blah.
I feel like playing more N64 these days, new games just don't do it for me, so looking to get back into it.
Although if I finished it, I migth have denied you the pleasure. ;)

If you have any multi-playing buddies, try this in multiplayer.
Its a blast!

I'm eyeing off HSV Adventure Racing (played through it several times already) but will hold off for now if anyone else has the game and hasn't played it.
Its a ripper of a game, massivly under-rated.

What games are left? Are they on the front page?
Maybe it's time I stoped slacking and got back in to it!

From what I looked at the only 2 games on the list that I have are Body Harvest and wcw vs nwo world tour.
Body Harvest?
Jeepers! How many people have had a crack at that game?
It's quite a challenge to say the least...
I will have a crack if no one else will.

But for now may I have a crack at wcw vs nwo world tour?
I've beaten it before, should be super easy.
And sorry for slacking everyone!
The worst thing I did was get 90% of the way through NBA Hangtime and stop!
Life etc.. still I should have finished that!😖

EDIT 3:
As luck would have it, I think I borrowed wcw/nwo to a friend...I will have to ask.
Holding back on Body Harvest just for now...

I'd like to claim Body Harvest!
Some of us have never been the same after that daunting task.
Good luck...you are going to need it...

It is a very enjoyable game with cool ideas.
The motivation for me is to see what happens next and what's in the next few levels.

Fellas, Body Harvest ;_; , wow just wow. It is brutal... but I'm trudging along, not giving up yet. On to America...

edit: Posted Image
America was as far as I got, although not on Hero difficulty.
I think trying to keep the body count down was difficult.

I like the Fonzie look a like at the start of the level.

@ X-amount: Great job mate!
I am somewhat inspired to try the game again this year.
I will at least be playing through the first level within a few weeks I would assume 😃

EDIT: Didnt want to double post and not in a rush to do it but...
Against my better judgement...I might claim Carmeggedon 64 😱😵

Did the first level for Take the Stage...it's the worst of the 64 (the number) games I've done for Take the Stage, and probably the only one on the list that I actually have.
I'm hoping the 3 levels that are selectable at the start are all that there actually are in the game 😂

@Italia: Good job!
How was NBA Jam 2000?
Similar to NBA Hangtime?

I will try and get stuck into Carmeggedon in the next few days....unfortunately 😂

I recommend everyone try this game once...so you can appreciate how much better all the other N64 game are 😎😜 :n64:

Carmegeddon is done! Took a day or so of my housemate and I taking it in turns.
Phone is not being nice, so can't get link...
Think it's here somewhere: http://smg.photobucket.com/user/djcat64/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0627.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2
That and the pic is blurry as well. Anyway it's done 😊

I have to say I have changed my opinion on this game a fair bit.
It kind of benefits from being "so bad it's good".
it certainly isn't a well made game by any stretch BUT...it still manages to be quite fun if you don't take it seriously and enjoy how hilariously bad the physics are.

I enjoyed the story for the 90s cheese and the way the main character words himself in the mission r explanations 😂
Hot Tip: once you realize that is far easier to win races by retiring your opponents rather than actually racing, it gets a lot less challenging and FAR more fun. Rather than being frustrated by your car being flipped by hitting a tiny bump, you are laughing your arse off at 2 cars going flying and spinning halfway across the stage. 😄

Haven't found the time to complete Body Harvest -_- . I have but one level to go! Please allow me one more month to complete.
You are that far already, fantastic job as is!

You going all the way son!
🎵Dont Stop me now!🎵

I wonder If there are any other games to beat?
Its nearly all just sports games that I don't have.
I actually enjoyed Carmegedon.

I'm back in Italy and I'm back in N64 gaming. Tomorrow I start Body Harvest, if X-amount doesn't want to beat it, I'm going to claim it ;-)
Welcome back bro! :link: :n64:

How was the trip away?

I kinda feel like playing Body Harvest just for pleasure...just because it is technically Body Harvest year 😊

We still live ISS2000.

Played the 64 version tonight and had 2 great games.
The 2nd with a 40 metre long shot goal by a defender who just shut down Allejo to win the game in extra time!

Cool!

I dont have the 2k ver. but I can't get a goal even at 30m in Perfect Striker. At which GK level are you playing?
Goal Keeper was on level 5 As usual, but being ISS64 we were kind of abusing the push the goalie over behind the play trick to help with long goals 😂

I love the overly loud and excited commentator in the English version.

Yeah I've had N64 games do that many a time before.
Don't panic, don't start a new file, just turn it off and try again.
Sometimes firing up another game helps.
Don't know how it works, but I've always regained my files 👍

Anyone else know that feeling when you play Golden Nugget for 6 straight hours? Didn't think so. Stay tuned for when I cash in my million all at once. I want you all to experience the magic with me.
I just remember it got scores off roughly 2/10 but the reviews where still entertaining because they would just insult the game.

@ Shellshocker:
That was inspiring.
And I did find it funny.
Good job Jalyn (I forget the spelling already) and I imagine Worms would be pretty fun.
Same as Smash Bros, fun, bit just not as good as multi-player.
If I had to guess.

I'm pretty keen on recording more stuff, especially multi-player.
And getting one of those Ever drives seems like a good idea too! 👍👍👍

That's similar to how I did my soccer team in ISS.
Renames is something that makes the Worms games heaps of fun.
I remember it got very good reviews for its multi-player back in the day.

Also, love the new Avatar, old mate High Roller.
