Great achievement, Italia 64. I completed the game myself back in the days, and it's definetly one of the hardest and most frustrating games I've ever finished. I gave up on it many times and it took a long time to finally do it. I'm going to start another playthrough sometime when I have the courage. ![]() I don't understand why the last two levels are only playable on the hardest difficulty, the easy setting would have been challenging enough for most people. I heard that this is only the case with the PAL version. But it makes it all the more satisfying for those who have the patience. One moment I remember that was very satisfying was when the fog is removed in the Java level and you can see much further. I really like the music too, especially the tunes that play when you explore buildings are very moody. |

Java is probably my favorite level, and it's hard to beat the feeling you get when you find a tank for the first time. Of course, the sense of freedom you get from the airplanes is also a great feeling. I remember the real challenge was to hold on to the best vehicles for as long as possible. It's been so many years since I played it that there's a lot I don't remember. When I play through it again someday it will almost be like the first time, I will probably make the same mistakes again and learn everything again. |
