Hey all!

After what feels like an eternity, I have finally buit the motivation to host another N64 gaming night. The last time I hosted a serious N64 gaming night was way back in 2006 (GoldenEye night). I've got my pizza order ready, I've got fridge stacked full of Coca-Cola, I've got snacks for inbetween level breaks, I've got a mascot (a small Pikachu) and I've got bean-bags, a comfy couch and a neat selection of multiplayer titles.

Now that I have the opportunity to sit back and relax for a few moments before everbody arrives, I thought I would take the time to ask you all about the last N64 gaming night you shared with friends.

What did you eat? What did you drink? What did you play? Were rooms cleared out due to excessive farting? Did anybody trip over the controller cords?

I never had any N64 Gaming Nights with friends. My N64 was mostly for the wonderful single player games that I loved on it like Ocarina of Time. I did have some two player bouts of Goldeneye 007 with a friend every once in awhile, though. I think I had more multi-player fun times with the SNES and PS1 to be quite honest.

Both the n64 and the ps4 have 64 bit processors. Now I'm not saying the 64 could run crysis at 60 fps but I'm not saying it couldn't.
115 games
2 consoles
6 controllers

I'm glad to hear a few of you are still holding/enjoying N64 gaming nights.

We had an awesome time last night at our N64 gaming night. We started with Mario Kart 64, moved onto Perfect Dark, then to GoldenEye, then to Diddy Kong Racing, then back to GoldenEye. This was fueled by 30 cans of Coca-Cola, a heap of junk food and a giant platter of Cheese. Good times.

We tried to play a few rounds on WipEout 64 and WCW vs. NWO, but the pace was a little too slow for our liking.

the last one was last year with 3 friends playing Mario Kart 64. we had a blast. didnt last all night but we had so much fun (well i did cuz I won like 30 races out of 35 lol). but back in the day, my dad's friend had a audio/video shop and he had access to 6 feet wide projector screen and we used to play MK64 ALOT on it. that was brutal and insane; 3x3 feet for each player instead of the usual 24" TV I had at home. when he couldnt get it, we played at home or at another friend's house at least once a month all night. that was epic.

Hmm..Well The last N64 Game Night I had was a year ago with my next door neighbor, her friend and me and josh.We whipped out Mario Kart 64, and started to play battle mode and had a ton of fun with it.We actually found out something. When the first person loses all of their balloons, they turn into a BO-bomb.When we saw that we laughed our heads off for over 10 minutes. We had alot of fun with it,and it was pretty great(played for 3 hours).

N64 collection completed 7/29/12
Just did one last night in Myrtle Beach. Brought some 15 or so games. I murdered everyone in GoldenEye, got my arse handed to me in Mario Kart, we were all about matched on Smash Bros, rotated mini games in Mario Party 2, did brief sessions of Star Fox and The World Is Not Enough, did some cool battles in Pokemon Stadium. There must have been about ten to twelve people there. We turned every game into a drinking game (first to get eliminated takes three shots, next takes two, second place takes one, first place doesn't take any). We did shots of Fire Ball except for in Pokemon Stadium where we did jäger bombs. There was a little bit (a lot) of grass involved too, but that was because I kept dominating the scene in GoldenEye and wasn't taking any shots. Mario Kart drinking games are fun, but drinking and driving is wrong so we had to pull over after every lap and take a shot. Battle Mode was my favorite since I realized how bad I am at racing. We're gonna be doing another sesh tonight. Got a ton more games in the bag.
