Dusting your collection/collectibles

Hey guys, I just wanted to inquire with everyone what you do or use to keep your games and collectibles free from everyday household dust. I know there is an obvious answer of regular dusting but I find that a lot of my collectible figures and toys tend to fall over when I try to dust no matter how delicate I do it. So I was wondering if anyone had some tips or advice. Is there anything that you can use that might deter dust from collecting, such as a special spray? Maybe an Endust formula that repels the pesky little particles? Canned air? I would imagine it would work but its awfully pricey and regular use seems to exhaust the can's contents in no time.

I have too many collector's edition game statues and figures that I really want to display but I don't want them coated in dust and I don't want to damage them while trying to keep them clean. I don't have an armoire of any kind or I'd go that route. I do run a fan in my house most of the time. Does that make this situation worse or better? Thanks for any help you can provide. :yeah:

Easiest way is to keep your stuff behind glass. I don't do that because I'm lame :/

Unfortunately dust is an inevitability, unless of course you do keep them in glass cabinets as mentioned above, or if you keep your games in plastic bags etc..

Personally, I just clean my shelves every so often, and wipe over my games/consoles with anti bacteria wipes (these pick up dust really well).
As for the games themselves; for cartridges i wipe the inside with cotton buds, which means I dont have to blow them every time i want to play them. An for discs I have a £10 disc cleaner, which works surprisingly well :yeah: :yeah:
