I noticed that Monday night (2K15 Midnight). I was really disappointed that others can't preorder it. I was lucky to get it as son as they announced it. I DID however preorder Captain Toad and amiibo Luigi and Little Mac today!

It looks like there will be an Amiibo mode, but I'm not sure what they do. Are they like a computer partner that you can grind to gradually get to level 9-like difficulty? PS what most excited me about that video was the sweet looking Mario Galaxy stage

SSBWiiU will help the console finish strong this year but an immersive Zelda title is what will make the Wii U a must-have system. Personally, I want an on-line multiplayer Star Fox game that lets me use either the gamepad, Wii U Pro Controller or the GameCube Controller.

That's the game that will finally motivate me to get a Wii U and I don't mind the wait because I won't have that kind of coin again until my tax return in 2016 so the timing will be great.

It even comes with a copy of Nintendo Land. Most of us have concluded that theses are actually new consoles that Nintendo is discounting because they're cutting out the middleman in the retail chain.

UNless NOA ship to Canada, it's a no-go for us. Nintendo Canada doesnt even have a store to buy hardware ! or I didnt check properly.

I mean for 300$ yuo get MK8 with a 32gb deluxe set. for the refurbished you get the 8gb set, add MK8 for 65$ you're at 265$ for REFURBISHED console and I'm not even adding the shipping price. not worth it to me.

Last night, I was playing MK8 (time trials v. ghost). At the same time, Mrs. BDR was trying to download 40+ emails from her laptop and alternatively, her iPhone. No dice. They would not come in at all. Thinking it was an equipment malfunction, we sorted it out on my computer (Ethernet connection). Later, it dawned on my that perhaps my Wii U use had fouled things up. I was not racing online, but maybe the ghost data was enough to choke the Wi-Fi connection (and when I was helping her unsuccessfully with the laptop, the game remained paused.) I shut off the Wii U and in came the emails. Is there any truth to my suspicion? Any recommendation on what type of Wi-Fi device might improve capacity?

I have an 802.11n D-Link and Mrs. Grizzmeister doesn't even experience a hiccup when I'm on-line playing MK8. She often watches YouTube videos while I'm racing and neither of us have any problems. Here are my bandwidth specs for comparison. Being up in NJ you probably have access to Verizon's Fios (Fiber-to-the-Prem) which offers a much more symmetrical service.
