So since it's Friday, I asked my girlfriend if she'd like to come over and watch a couple movies and play the N64. So she did. First we played James Bond 007 for about 2 hours, then we switched to Super Smash Brothers Brawl. (For the record I've only beat her once on brawl and we've had like 50+ matches so I guess Lucas > Falco.) After about an hour of brawl we decided to watch some movies. We started with "The Grey." Then we watched "Gacy" and "Act of Valor" My review of The Grey. (No spoilers) So I saw the ads for the movie but never saw it in theater. So we went to Netflix and watched it. Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors so I really enjoyed him in the movie. For all of you that don't know The Grey is about a group of men who work on like an oil rig. Liam Neeson is to protect them by killing wolves and such. Well when they were on the plane, it crashed leaving them stranded in the middle of a storm with a pack of wolves following them. I'd give the movie a 4/5. I like the action in the movie and how it kept me on my toes. You should really watch this movie once you get the chance. My Review of Gacy. (no spoilers) I never saw ads for this movie but my girlfriend said she really wanted to watch it so we did. I've heard about John Wayne Gacy but I wanted to know more. I enjoyed the movie. It really portrayed Gacy well. Like I knew he kept a bunch of dead boys in his crawlspace but I had no clue he had hid them while his family was around. I'd give the movie a 3/5. The reason is I felt like some of the actors weren't the best and that the movie got kinda boring halfway in. All in all it was a good movie and I recommend checking it out. My Review of Act of Valor (no spoilers) I never saw ads (that I remember) for this movie but reading the description on Netflix it seemed pretty cool. This movie is special to me because my Grandfather was in WWII and was an honor guard of General Macarthur. From the beginning to end I loved the movie. Act of Valor is about a team of elite Navy SEALs that go to Costa Rica to rescue a CIA agent. I'd rate this movie 5/5 because it was so well done and it did make me tear up at one point. (I get that way in movies. I teared up in Marley and Me because of... :SPOILER OF MARLEY AND ME: Spoiler: click to toggle But I really encourage you to check Act of Valor out because I did not expect the ending or any parts of the movie. Was a really well done movie. Thanks for reading (: Bye. |

I voted pacific rim. I just watched it a couple of days ago and I'm interested to see what others think of it... |
