I use rechargeable batteries for my 360 and Wii controller. Their reaching the last cycles and are lasting less time. I believe batteries have evolved ever since and I need some help choosing new batteries. Are there gold standard batteries for this purpose? I've read that according to the type of use (from PC mouse to digital cameras) we can choose different batteries. There are rechargeable batteries at every shop but it seems some people recommend ordering some special Eneloop and Duracell lines, that are more expensive but much, much better. Hum...does anyone know anything about batteries? |

Standard Eneloop's all the way for me. Sure from time to time one breaks and can't get charged again but all in all they last quite long and are affordable. |

Not to be off topic, but I have two wiimotes with Nyko battery backs (and the clear glowing charger stand). Perform very well and seem to be better the more you use them. |

@Sanni, thanks for the input. By the way, I do you have advice concerning the charger? I read somewhere the slowest it is, the better. I use a very, VERY old Philips one. It works well, I just have no idea if it allows the batteries to their best performance. @bluedog, I considered the battery packs some time ago, but I just got too used having batteries around for other purposes (mice, tv remotes, cameras and other devices) :). |

I use a BC700 charger I bought just for use with my Eneloops. http://www.amazon.com/La-Crosse-Technology-Battery-Charger/dp/B000RSOV50 |

It looks amazing sanni. I'm deciding on what kind of eneloop to order. There are many reports of Amazon sending previous version/generations of the batteries while advertising the new ones... I'd hate to pay for one type and get some other
