N64 TV differences

I think it depends on the size of the HDTV, mine is a 24" hisense - from Australia and my n64 is hooked up via composite.i can get away with playing it on that without sacrificing to much quality and stretching out although The quality isn't as good as it was on the old tv but I just don't have space for one. I tested it on our lounge room tv which is about 55" via composite and it looks way worse then on the 24"

Can all TVs change to 4:3 I couldn't find it in my tv settings?

All my HDTV's allow me to switch between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
I looked in all my TVs settings and can't find a 4:3 setting shame because if I changed to 4:3 and used s video I could get it to look half decent
