this has been bugging me for a very long time as there's some stuff I bought in the past I wanted to share with you guys but had no particular place, so here it is.

Picked this up today (actually my wife) and im very please to have it. I'm a big Metallica fan and seeing I couldnt get the Doris edition, I had to have the Deluxe.

Front (Just as a comparison, it is as big as the vinyl format, or close to)

I like the look of that Fast & Furious 6 steelbook case, maybe even a little more than the steelbook I got at my Walmart. :yeah:

And no, I don't think you screwed them at all. If it was labeled the wrong price then they definitely needed to make it right. And then fix their price tag.

Anyway, my tax money came in so I splurged on a few things yesterday:

Sony HD Camcorder
2DS and two games, as mentioned in the appropriate topic
and movies, all blu-ray:
Riddick
Bad Grandpa
Escape Plan
Machete Kills
Skyfall
Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I'm guessing no one will know who this group is but I received this in the mail today and I'm pretty ecstatic. This group, Fire Tiger, is a complete throwback to somewhat corny 80s pop/rock but I love them. I was into a lot of music like this in the 80s and I ain't even sorry. Best part is, they sent me the record and the CD for the price of the record alone. I made a mistake when I ordered and selected the vinyl when I thought I was picking the disc. I messaged them on Facebook, Twitter and directly through their website to get it resolved before they shipped and they just threw the CD in at no extra cost. Needless to say, I am pretty stoked. I'm going to share a video of their's in the appropriate topic in case anyone here might end up digging them.

Hopefully you saw the video then, BDR. I miss dem 80s.

Anyway, I forgot to show this pick up off when I got it a few days back. I'm slowly but surely converting all of my favorite TV shows and affiliated movies over to blu-ray these days.

So I thought I'd make my inaugural post in this thread...

Two (pretty much literally) kick-ass movies I've been meaning to get... to be saved for the next "gift opportunity" for my partner. (Seriously... these aren't ~entirely~ gifts for me disguised as gifts for her... she's a bigger Kung Fu/Stephen Chow action movie fan than I am!)

And the Seinfeld series was part of my Valentine's gift to the both of us. ;)
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Rayman Legends, Fat Princess Adventures, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

21 jump street is pretty hilarious, typical Jonah Hill humour.

I swear I bought this Akira release the same day you posted this!

Watched the remastered blu-ray and it holds up perfectly. The animation impresses me a little more every time I watch it. Wish there had been a sequel by Otomo once he eventually finished the comic, the movie's only half the story. Thought provoking but not quite the type of movie you can recommend to people. Left me numb the first time I saw it, lol. There is so much going on in the story, so much destruction, by the end you're  . Definitely needs to be seen multiple times. I only recently discovered this movie within the past 2 years and it's become one of my Sci-Fi favorites.
