The one pictured is the white MK8 semi-circle wheel, which is cool but not as much to my liking as the new Mario and Luigi wheels. Still cool offer.

Release date is being broken all over the place here in Holland (as per usual) Truth is that Nintendo isn't very strict - Pokemon excepted - and doesn't seem to punish anyone. I can always get my games a day early as most shops get their new stock on Thursday and immediately put it on the shelves. BTW: played the first 3 cups... wow, just wow. it is so beautiful and smooth, a sheer joy to play and watch. Edited by Mk II, May 29 2014, 09:32 AM.

Used the gamepad and also my Classic Controller Pro, and tomorrow I'll delve deeper in to the game with my Wii U Pro Controller which is charging as I type this. Hope all of you who want the game got a copy. BTW, I probably won't download my free game (Pikmin 3) until sometime next week as I've read that the servers are having problems from so much demand. Oh, Pikmin 3 just got an interesting update. Report: Pikmin 3 gets stylus control option in new software update

Member #381 Joined: November 7, 2010	So it appears that MK8 is generating quite a buzz (and for good reason)... i'm predicting it will sell surprisingly well and actually starts to shift some consoles as well. This COULD be the game that changes the perception that the Wii U has already failed. Nintendo just needs to reveal one or two blockbusters (Zelda? Metroid???) at E3 and all will be well in the Mushroom Kingdom.

I'm just trying not to wear out my GP too early so I'll stick mostly to the Wii U Pro.

I found drifting a little hard to do with the wheel; hitting gas and brake sometimes caused me to brake. I'm handling single player just fine, but getting lit up online. Have not found a winning combination yet between character, vehicle and tires. But i'll keep at it

The Most Perfectly Simple Game Ever! Easy to play, hard to master. all of these new Mario Karts have TOO MANY FEATURES THE DETRACT FROM THE GAMEPLAY THAT MADE MARIO KART ADDICTING IN THE FIRST PLACE! i don't want 2 drivers or hang gliders or any of that gimmicky junk

Still at least I have the code to play. Loving the game so far looks great and plays very smooth, happy I brought it. The free game I got was Wonder 101 but I really dont get that game, when i'm fighting its hard to tell whats going on and every time I try to draw a big hand only a small one appears. weird game. I wonder when my boxed copy of MK8 does turn up if i can use the code on there and register it again to claim another free game. Anyone know?

I know its a Mario-Kart-Tradition but they can`t always have only 16 tracks no?.. -Drift propperly? as in .. not waiting for 7 seconds until you see the sparks

It's surprising since I was such a beast at Mario Kart Wii's on-line mode. My goal is to race with other members here at N64Forever but I haven't mastered the game well enough yet to be taken very seriously. Maybe I'm getting old and losing my touch.
