If this is in the wrong area someone fix it idk where to put it haha but anyways, I'm building a PC and need some cash so I've decided to sell some of my collection. I'm just curious what you guys think I should sell. Should I sell some of my more expensive games that I can download on Steam PSN or eShop? I mean I can get 400ish for my CIB earthbound and pay $10 for it on vc so I don't truly see the point (i don't have a nostalgic attachment to the game, beat it for the first time few months ago) Just curious on your guys thoughts I've got too much stuff that just sits on my shelf and never gets played like my ff3 secret mana breath of fire secret of evermore and chronotrigger boxes |

I never sell anything from my personal collection, that's why i know i will never have any "seller's remorse". Still have the very first game i've ever bought in 1983 (Jet Pac for the ZX Spectrum) Honestly, i think you should try to find other ways to raise the cash like perhaps flip games/consoles on eBay. That Earthbound CIB will increase in value but that a new PC will be outdated within a year or two and only decrease in value |

Have to say I agree with this almost completely. For me I sold a lot of games a few years ago and for the ones I don't miss I'd say it was the right decision. If you are unsure about any I'd hold off and as Mark 2 says find other ways of making a few bucks. The ones I sold that I want back though is costing me more so you don't really want to be in that boat. The only reason it's not putting me off is I know the value increase is linear Good luck with the PC

Sounds like you've pretty much made your mind up already. I say go for it. That's a lot of money tied up in something if you aren't getting much enjoyment out of it. Personally, I think if you start looking at your collection and start seeing other things you could have spent your money on, it's time to reevaluate your philosophy on collecting and decide what really makes you happy. Nothing wrong with that. |

I think you need to take a step back and ask yourself, are you collecting or playing? If you only want the games to play, feel free to get cheaper digital copies, if collecting, keep the physical ones. |

I do play a lot of the games but once I beat them I don't see the point in owning them CIB, I mean nobody other than people on the net get to see any of this stuff so whats the point really. I'll figure it out but I'm keeping it in the meantime thanks guys |
