If theories are welcome in this thread, here's an idea we've discussed amongst Swedish collectors regarding the Perfect Dark PAK, and Pokémon Stadium Battle SET.
What do these have in common? The stickers!

The original idea is that Bergsala, the distributor for Nintendo in Scandinavia, sent out boxes, cartridges, instructions, yada yada, for the Perfect Dark-bundle and Pokémon Stadium-bundle
and had the different stores complete these with the funtastic units they had lying around, or that had been unsold for a longer period of time. By bundling the console with a game, and pretty much retailing for as much as a "regular" one, we think this was to boost sales, or to get rid of a huge amount of cartridges that were just lying around, or was for replacement.

Might've been one of the worst composed theories you've ever heard, but that's my and a few friends' honest opinion on why these bundles even exist.

The Pokémon Snap PAK was the one that were sold on the "French-auction-I-always-forget-the-name-off"?

Well, I think the list regarding the Scandinavian ones should be complete. There were other units being sold at the time, but this is things such as the Mario PAK with the "grey sleeve", etc. Got all my consoles at my parents' house, but I'll try to post a picture ASAP!
