Hello

im wondering if i should get myself an upscaler for my N64 because on my LCD it does not look very good.
So i searched for informations and watched some videos on Youtube but i am still confused about it.

Im from germany so i obviously use the PAL signal and with my RGB cords for my Game Cube and my Super Nintendo the picture for those consoles is great.
Just with the composit of my N64 the quality isnt very good.
And since i do not want to modify my console to output RGB and because my TV does not have any S-Video inputs (i guess it is useles non the less because i have the Pikachu N64)
I am looking for a method to get at least a little better picture.

Does anyone of you have any experiences with that or can give me any advise on this problem i would be really thankful.

@ Sanni Thank you but it requires soldering so it is no option for me.

@ buddy1983 Do you connect your N64 with the normal composite cables to the upscaler?

I brought a cheap one (40) so for me it was worth trying. I think it does make a difference but not a massive one. I mainly use it with my C64 now and it makes those games look great but I also use it with my megadrive rough RGB and that looks much better too.

I would give it a go if you can pick up a cheap one but the more you spend the better the results will be.

I bought this one LINK
Thank you. :)
