Only thing I'd want would be battle mode, but I don't really have IRL friends, so I was pretty satisfied with the Wii U version. Then Mrs. Kart told me she ordered it for Switch... I'm ok with it. =)

The problem is where people are located due to time zones, it can be hard for people to think about other people other side of the world. Unless we did two sessions like one on friday night EDT and one on Saturday morning EDT which means that I can do that since one with be like in the morning and one at night. Joining your friend was a much more reliable way to race with each other than joining the Tournaments. NID is kartmaster, I know I already have a few of you guys. Look forward to racing! So yesterday I played MK8 on the Wii U and was pleasantly surprised to see that the online lobby still filled up quickly on World Wide. I wish Nintendo offered Deluxe's upgrades as DLC so we could cross-play with Switch owners.

Battle is fun, but it's missing that element of knowing which friend just took you out. Not quite the same with internet randos. Ha ha.

Hard to just sit in first place and trail a shield behind you because it seems like there's a bolt every 20 seconds. Only frustrating when I was trying to push through all the 50cc cups. I was just trying to finish them as quickly as possible and the lightning bolts were frustrating!

Seems to handle the same, except for the purple spark boost that's available now. Really kicks it in the pants but hard to pull off unless you have a long tight curve. Also LOVING HD Rumble in this game. Holding each joycon separately you can really feel how each effect from boosts to starts to picking up coins all feel different. Not a big thing, but after about 10 hours, I still notice it.

There is some serious chaos with all the items, though I believe their durations have been shortened a bit. All I know is the Kart family races really well...Kart, did you crack 1400 last night?

Maybe it was because of a long weekend I didn't want. Or just my general dislike of modern games (even though Zelda was the best thing that's happened to me in forever) I don't know, just the way they were promoting it and listing the number of courses etc etc, when Kart 64 has 8 characters and 16 courses and will forever kick this games arse. Mostly because it has just the best physics ever. And other reasons, I'm tired and forgot what I was raised ting about. Having said all that, I will probably still get it, and enjoy it, mostly because I want to get in on the action with you guys! (not like that 😉 lol) Oh yeah that was the other thing putting me off, the video was laggy as hell, probably some problem in lie end, and I was thinking if the video is lagging, playing with the cool dudes on the other side of the world will be really light. Hmm...😣🤕 EDIT: There is some shocking auto correct errors in there, but I'm tired.... And they are kind of funny! Ish. Edited by D.J Cat, May 2 2017, 12:02 PM.
