Hey guys,if your wondering why i haven't been active as much,its because..my Grandpa has been sick lately,fatigued,tired, and doing one thing for five minutes will make him exhaustedt,but then they took him to the hospital and he had a low white blood cell count and anemia. After a testing thing,they found out...that he has Leukemia.Its been a rough couple of days after finding out that now my Grandpa has a real expiration date..and maybe he won't live to see me graduate,just like my Late Uncle (who died of heart failure at 46) never saw me grow up from being 7 years old. He's starting chemo monday,and since its gonna make him bald,were going to all support him and shave our heads too. Its been really sad,and i've noticed i'v been more emotional since i found out,just thinking that all of the great times i have had with him might not happen soon..forever. We hope chemo and blood transfusions will help,but since hes in great shape for his age,he can fight the cancer.I just am having a hard time adjusting that he isn't the grandpa that can catch up with us or bike ride with us...i am praying for him everyday though. :( ;_;

Sorry to hear that Luke. Having a family member develop cancer can be tough. My Grandmother died of Cancer in February this year and also my work mate's partner died just last month from some pretty heavy duty cancer that riddled his entire body.

Sounds like you guys are doing all the right things though, so good luck and hopefully he can beat it :yeah:

My thoughts and prayers go out to your Grandpa and your entire family, NintendoLuke99.

The take away here is; live every day like it's your last. Suck the very marrow out of life because tomorrow isn't promised.

Modern medicine really is amazing, though, so keep the faith.

Thanks Everyone for the support!Really appreciate it :) . I've been accepting it now,but its alot harder knowing that your Grandpa might die in the next year or so..oh well,i guess when the Lord wants him home,he'll come home. I have been meaning to see him,the reason why is i was sick a week ago,and any kind of virus or anything will make him sick and could turn into something worse in a instant because he has low white blood cell.
