I owned a copy of MI back in the day. I always felt it was a fun game in its own right, and it did some things pretty well. That being said, I couldn't help but compare it to Goldeneye. That is a tough standard to live up to ;)

MI is Fun! Not that "fantastic" but even now the game is pretty cheap so it's worth to try!

the music is somehow very catching!

Hm. Maybe February, Wrestlemania 2000. Maybe February.

Unfortunately, while I did rent this game in the past, I can't say I remember too much about it other than I got stuck on the part where you're on the roof (I think) and that I only found it to be "okay." That was a long time ago, so I guess I should give it another shot, but it's not exactly on the top of my "must have N64 games" list.

This is a game that never lived up to what it should've been, so many great ideas taken away but still a great game. Made by Ocean software (after their buyout) too so will always be one of my favorite games. Weirdly I've never completed it but I've been playing it again recently and now its the game of the month its time to finally get around to finishing it.

Check out Glenns reviews of the game

Good game, under rated I think.

Hard to rate how good it is. Cause back at that age, I just liked everything.
But good enough to play through multiple times.
And yes! The music!
It gets mentioned and the rooftop music gets stuck in my head! (In a good way).

The train levels were fantastic.
And good variety of stuff throughout.

From sneaking, to manning a gunboat, to switching between Snipers to the famous laser room scene.

Pretty pumped to play though again now.
Just a matter of having the time!

Meh, I remember renting this game once and not having a very good time with it. Might have been impatience or some sort of lofty expectation as I had read a lot about it prior to release but I just couldn't get into it.

i'm currently playing the PS1 version. while the textures are really blocky and shaky, and the character models look distorted, the textures have more detail, and the lighting is much better than on the N64 version. fogging is also a lot less.

i recommend playing it, even for the sake of curiosity. it's really amazing thinking the PS1 could run this game, and with such quality :)

Didn't even know there was a PS1 version!

Played up till the last few missions on "Possible".
Enjoyed it. The game certainly has aged though!
Like me.
This game is 16 years old!
Makes me feel ancient...:/

I love the way they talk in this game.
And noticed the developers clearly had a good sense of humour with some of the dialogue and descriptions of equipment and so on.
