Nintendo - Gargoyle's Quest II: The Demon Darkness - NEW Strider Sega Genesis - Streets of Rage 2 PlayStation - Spider-Man - NEW Speed Punks Nintendo 64 - Mortal Kombat 4 (beaten with all default fighters) PlayStation 2 - Dark Cloud - TimeSplitters - WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It - WWE Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth - WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW - Tekken Tag Tournament (all characters playthrough) Xbox - Sonic Riders - Star Wars Battlefront Nintendo GameCube - Beach Spikers: Virtua Beach Volleyball (Arcade and World Tour mode) - Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader Nintendo Wii - Super Paper Mario Nintendo Wii U - Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Strider has been beaten and another Capcom game goes under the Nintendo list. Unfortunately, too many cons turned this game from "one of the best games on the NES" to just "okay." If only the developers had more time to fix the problems. Still, it's pretty cheap so I say get it if you're willing to deal with the toughness of pulling off wall jumps.  UPDATE: Speed Punks has been beaten! Fantastic kart racing game (outside some inbalanced item issues) that doesn't really get talked about too much. Definitely check it out if you own a system that plays PS1 games.

The next episode of Life is Strange dropped the other day and I just finished it off. While coming from a completely different angle than the heavier handed life and death scenarios of The Walking Dead and even A Wolf Among Us, Life is Strange is still highly effective with its drama and tense situations. I'm really digging this so far. Knocking 'em down right now. Over the last week I decided to sit down with Half-Life 2 since I've been up to my neck in it with Garry's Mod. Tonight I completed it. I think its my third or fourth full playthrough and it never grows stale. What an awesome game. Half-Life 3, Mr. Newell? Finally completed all three volumes of Captain Toad: Three-gemmed the courses but still have a few "bonus"'levels to complete. Really great game that DOES utilize the Wii U gamepad to its fullest. There something in the ending sequence that makes me wonder if this was intended to be an early release. Another question: why was this a "budget" release?!? Plenty of content and the quality is there of course. I've described this elsewhere as the perfect chill game, but the difficulty ramps up in Volume 3 and the last few stages are really hard. Anyway, I plan on getting a Toad amiibo and playing through again to "find Toad". So many course, hard to remember them all, so another play through will be fun. |

It took around 7 hours for me to complete on hard and I thought it was well worth the money I paid for it, maybe not full price. Looks great, plays well and the story was decent too. It's a shame so many people (me included) wrote it off before giving it a chance. Also finished Mario U. I started off collecting all stars in the levels but gave up around world 6 lol. That game got quite hard And now add DK to the list too. Great game which i enjoyed a lot. This and Mario were half complete last year, just finished them off as i'm on leave at the moment. I hated it when I was a kid and it first came out. I've tried to get into it so many times over the years since but never been able to. This week I was determined to beat it and I'm so glad I put in the time. Been playing it solid for 3 days and what a game. I really enjoyed it. I was so frustrating at times but you know you have a good game when you want to break the controller but you keep saying "one more try". One of my top N64 games now

I just finished the single player campaign mode in Tank! Tank! Tank! I enjoyed this title way more than I thought I would. It's basically an arena style shooter with a bunch if different tanks to eventually choose from, all with different attributes. Not an epic, but definitely fun.

Two new lists. Pokemon Blue Version has been completed. The first time I've beaten a gen 1 Pokemon game outside of the GBA remakes. It's a real shame that the game aged like milk. It's nice to finally put this one down but, honestly, I'm just glad it's over. Unless you really don't want to use rental Pokemon for Pokemon Stadium, I say stay away from this one. Before beating Pokemon, I got side tracked with the Super Nintendo games I bought last weekend and ended up beating Mortal Kombat for the first time in my life. You know, besides the censorship and slight delay on uppercuts, the SNES port really isn't so bad after all. Give it a shot if you can't get your hands on a bloodier version of the game.

Cleared Ori and the Blind Forest, it bothers me that its not 100% clear (but like 98%) and you can`t continue the game when its cleared... apart from that, fantastic game!

You would think that, with Nintendo allowing blood and gore in this one, that the SNES version would be superior to the Sega Genesis port, but it's actually not due to one reason: move delay. I was easy on the first Mortal Kombat because I've never played that game on Genesis so I couldn't compare the two. However, this is Mortal Kombat II and I've owned the Genesis version of this game for years. I can tell the difference and can honestly say that Genesis has the better port. That being said, I still think the SNES version is fun to play. Plus, you don't need to buy a new kind of controller to have the right amount of buttons. I mean Mortal Kombat with a 3-button controller? That just ain't right.

I really wanted to like this one (what with it sharing the name of my absolute favorite game and all), but two things shot that down pretty fast: severe slowdown and screen crunch. The latter bothers me more because it could have been completely avoided had Sega ported the Master System version over instead. Why they chose the one with less level vision is mind boggling. Well at least the music is good? Sorry, but that's the only compliment this game is getting from me. That and the final boss fight is actually pretty interesting. I finally 3 starred Mario Kart 8 DLC #1 at 150cc. The Yoshi Circuit gave me fits with Yoshi's Island and Dragon Drift and all of their insiped twists and turns. Worst kind of course for my racing style. But my body is definitely NOT ready for 200cc later this week. While I do consider this one to be the worst in the series, I did still have a lot of fun playing it for the most part. Just goes to show you how great the Mario Kart series really is. Give it a try if you haven't yet. As for me, though, I'm sticking with Mario Kart 8.  UPDATE: The Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules has been beaten! For a game based on a children's cartoon, this game is actually not too shabby. I wouldn't recommend it to experienced gamers, but it might be fun for your kids or a young sibling. There are many other licensed games out there that are worse than this. UPDATE: Star Fox has been beaten! Well, really, it was beaten on easy mode. I had no idea the map screen in this game was the difficulty setting until after the credits started rolling. I'll definitely kick it up a notch later this year. UPDATE: Blues Brothers 2000 has been beaten! I really wasn't expecting this to turn out well (what with Titus The Fox greeting me during the opening credits), but this is a pretty solid 3D platformer. Controls work like they should and the worlds are pretty interesting. The only major complaint I can think of is the dance mini game you're forced to play through from time to time. It's also pretty short but, for the low prices it's going for, I think it's worth checking out. Not the best platformer on the system, but not total garbage either like I thought it would be. Just Bring It - WWE Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth - WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW - Tekken Tag Tournament (all characters playthrough) Xbox - Sonic Riders - Star Wars Battlefront Nintendo GameCube - Beach Spikers: Virtua Beach Volleyball (Arcade and World Tour mode) - Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader - Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (good ending) (Sega Game Gear version played on Sonic Gems Collection) - The Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules Nintendo Wii - Super Paper Mario Nintendo Wii U - Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Space Megaforce has been beaten! Spectacular shmup for the SNES. So many power-ups and the music is great too. In fact, the only blemish it has besides the ridiculous prices it usually goes for is it's story: it doesn't have one. Well not the American version anyway. I think there was a story in the original Japanese version but it got cut out here. Not that important in a shmup, though.

I cleared GTA V just now. This game has everything a game can have.., it is the first GTA I ever cleared, and you feel you want to continue this storyline! |

i've just finished season 6 (expert) in top gear rally (N64) and won all races. so i finally got strip mines!!  yes!!haven't felt this amount of achievment in years
