@EnvyFox: Wow, that is a cool accomplishment! I have been meaning to give MadWorld another go, but not the type of game one can play with kids around. The graphic style is really amazing though. Does the story/purpose of the game progress to make its kind of shocking nature make sense beyond blood, guts and gore? (Said differently, is it all just senseless violence like, say Chiller (NES)?) |

Yes there is a deeper reason for why Jack is "competing" in the Death Watch games, but I'm afraid revealing any more would spoil the story for you and anyone else reading this. And yeah this game is most definitely not for children to watch or play (this coming from a guy who played Mortal Kombat 2 and Duke Nukem 64 as a little boy). Whenever you get some time to yourself, I would definitely try to continue through the game. Things get very interesting as the story continues. Edited by EnvyFox, Jun 15 2015, 04:48 PM.

I didn't complete all of the challenges (I'm simply not that good), but I did get a gold medal on all three competition levels and got the end credits. I'm sure a large chunk of the users here have played this game before, but anyone who hasn't yet and has even the slightest interest in extreme sports games owe it to themselves to play THPS2. The kind of tricks you can pull off are incredible and the game gets better with a second player. Can YOU make your friend spell out H-O-R-S-E?

I've just completed Shenmue on the Dreamcast and made a start on Shenmue 2 (Xbox version). In light of the recent news I got back into the series. I have to agree with Envyfox THPS 2 is a really good game. I have it on the Dreamcast and it was a game that was played for hours on end both solo and with my brother when we were growing up.

the world is not enough (  ) on agentfirst time ever! this game is EXTREMELY hard. not only in the sense of enemies, but also in the sense of finding your way through levels, and knowing what to do. even with the briefings, it's still hard to navigate the levels. i've got missions fail on me left, right and center. even with the help of a walkthrough, i needed to try almost every level multiple times, before completing them. but it was worth it! this game will open up once you know where to go and what to do. especially on higher difficulty levels, you can then concentrate on killing off the enemies which is very satisfying. this game offers 14 unique levels. no recycling of environments like in goldeneye. i like this game. i think its certainly better than turok 2 and quake 64, only just behind duke nukem 64 (which offered many more levels) UPDATE: gamecube MOH rising sun f zero GX (multiple times) timesplitters 2 (easy) nintendo 64 the world is not enough castlevania legacy of darkness (first scenario) lylat wars (easy, multiple times) top gear rally (multiple times, earned mines level) wave race 64 (medium level) Edited by action, Jun 26 2015, 02:59 PM.

Jak 3 has been beaten! The worst of the original three games, but not by much. I still had a blast playing it. Well...when I didn't have to drive through the desert anyway. Those missions were just frustrating.  EDIT: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been beaten! This isn't the first time I've beaten the final boss, but it is the first time I've played the game from beginning to end. I love it I love it I love it! Not my favorite LoZ, but it's definitely up there. EDIT: Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes the Neighborhood has been beaten. An awful game, but also one of my guilty pleasures. I can't, in good faith, recommend this one but I did have some fun with it. EDIT: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island has been beaten! This game is amazing and I'm glad it didn't decide to erase my file a second time. Definitely worth owning. In other news, I'm beating games too quickly. That's probably a bad idea.

Finished off my final ("I Am The Night") playthrough of Batman: Arkham Origins last night, for 100% of the trophies. Fun game!! How much time would you say each of those Assassin's Creed games took you to complete? I've been wanting to get into them for some time. I have a little bit of progress on the first game but I guess I'm not doing so well with games that take a long while to finish. |

Please don't tl;dr  this. If it's too lengthy, then just look at the bolded. But I recommend you read ALL of it, especially you, TRS. It will help  Thank you!Well, with all games, it depends on how much you play/want to play.You know the rush when you first buy a game, when you play it for hours on end? That's what it's like. Me, after all these years, can only occasionally get into one of the games, because after you finish there's no fun in the games unless you are trying to get all achievements/100 % (I have 93 percent on Black Flag, which I did in the rush of a new game). After 2 years I went back to AC II and it wasn't as exciting. Yes, because I had already finished, but because killing stuff gets old. More on to your question, if you play for so long, it will get old faster, as with everything. If you're playing an hour a day, you'd finish one AC game in a week. Just a word of advice, and opinion, the storyline is kind of stupid in all games except the first and the second. I know a lot of people had problems with the storyy (which i wont go into) but I really didnt mind it. Maybe its because I dont read the comics but I found it pretty good. Highly recommend this game |

Finally polished off my game of Assassin's Creed: Revelations last night. An enjoyable game! Don't know if it was a result of playing late at night (and falling asleep for half the cutscenes), but that ending made absolutely no sense. Ah well. And now my PSN profile is at 98 games completed to 100%, out of 99 games total, giving me a completion percentage of 99.04%. Alllllmost there. Flawed, but overall a good game. I'm glad to have finally played through this classic from Capcom. UPDATE: Def Jam: Fight for NY has been beaten! Long story short, this is what Backyard Wrestling 2 would be like if it was good. Highly recommend this one for fans of 3d fighting games with destructable environments, an interesting story mode, a decent create a fighter feature and a wealth of unlockable content. UPDATE: Star Wars Battlefront II has been beaten and has become my new favorite Star Wars game that I currently own (sorry, Rogue Leader). The one big problem I had with the first game was addressed here and any negatives left over are so small they're not worth mentioning. I have no issue with recommending this one. UPDATE: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 has been beaten. Not my favorite in the series, but I still has a blast. My favorite part about the game (besides the addition of reverts) is the Tokyo stage. It looks like Tony Hawk had a crossover with Jet Set Radio Future.

Well, I finally, FINALLY finished my game of Uncharted 3, concluding my years-long clean-up of my games-already-started backlog. It was almost surreal, like a weird sort of déjà vu that's not quite the same the 2nd time around, playing the single player campaign for the first time and seeing all the crazy set pieces featured in the trailers and the levels I'd seen thousands of times in multiplayer matches... finally experiencing the story for the first time that glues everything together into one quasi-cohesive plot. I started this game the day it came out, back in November 2011, and must've gotten distracted and didn't get past the first few chapters. Then I played the EXTENSIVE multiplayer in 2013, for literally HUNDREDS of hours. And now I finished it.
