Beatles: Rock Band plat, that's SWEET!!! Now you just gotta push that extra little bit that you have left and get the Rock Band 3 plat!!  (currently at 0.23% rarity!)I managed to get my 101st PSN game started and finished pretty quick... Velocity Ultra, a freebie I'd received a few years ago on PS Plus, but never got around to until now. What an excellent little gem of a game!! I'm not one for top-down (or side-scrolling, or any kind of) shooters, but I had a blast with this! It's got an innovative warping mechanism that really added a layer of strategy into the game... highly recommended! There are those that earn platinum (seriously, Matt and Floorcat, you guys are pros!), and then there is BDR  My short 2015 beaten list: Contra (a few times with code) (NES) Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Tank! Tank! Tank! Mario Kart 8 DLC #1 (150cc) Mario Kart 8 DLC #2 (150cc) Iridion II (Gameboy Advance) Star Soldier 64 (Easy) Why beat a game I've beaten a bunch of times before (on easy no less)? Because it is glorious, blow-everything-up, no-enemy-ship-survives fun. And my kids were hogging the Wii U.

I've passed by this game so many times in the past and, had I not needed to make change a few weeks back, I would still be missing out on this awesome game. My only major complaint is that the main story is super short and the side quests don't extend gameplay time too much longer either. Still, this is yet another recommended game from me.  UPDATE: Intelligent Qube has been beaten! Not a single negative thing crosses my mind when talking about this puzzle game other than it's usual price tag for the North American physical copy (probably because we never got it on PSN). Intelligent Qube is simply perfection on a disc. EDIT: "Intelligent Qube is simply perfection on a disc." Wow. I can't believe I typed that out. Even when I'm not trying, I make bad puns.

I surprised myself by beating Fallout 3 today. I was caught off guard, I really was. I clocked in at almost 30 hours and I suppose that's a fair amount for beating the game without completing everything the game has to offer but I really didn't know I was so close to completing it at all. Seems really short but perhaps not. Anyway, I really loved the game, just a little miffed that things just wrapped up like they did. Oh well, someday I'll venture back into the D.C. Wastelands and see what else there is to do, especially all the DLC that came with it as it was the Game of the Year edition. It unlocked an Extra Mode that caters mors more to the speed running crowd (which I am not a part of). I was satisfied with 100% the main game. I wouldn't go looking for the original cartridges if I were you. Some of the prices on those games (*cough*Mega Man 7*cough*) are ridiculous. Instead, I suggest getting Mega Man Anniversary Collection. It comes with the first eight classic games (plus some unlockables) for a much cheaper price. Plus, things like slow down are fixed. Just avoid the GameCube version as they swapped the buttons for shooting and jumping with no way to fix it. It never bothered me, but most retro gamers found it blasphemous.

Outside of the horrendous camera (which is a legitimate problem for those platforming segments) and a bad hint given by Vincent early in the game, this is a very solid title and a lot cheaper than Legacy of Darkness (last I checked). Just finished GTA V myself tonight on the PS4. Have to say I didn't expect the ending to be quite so brutal lol. Enjoyed playing the game all the way through this time (got distracted when I had it originally on 360 and didn't finish the game so nice to finally beat it. Good game - I'd prefer it to go back to the one character role as I think it is better that way overall (future franchise releases). I would also like to see more returning characters from the franchise - I was a little disappointed with the 'lack of' in this game compared with its predecessors.

Didn't really enjoy yoshi story but my 2 year old loved watching me play it. She now loves Yoshi and the 90's Mario cartoon EDIT: completed timesplitters 2 on the gamecube. Forgot how much I liked this game, once I got used to the aiming I had a really good time with it. I also finished Michael Jacksons moonwalker which has been a game I have been trying to complete on and off since I was about 10 Never really given it a proper go since I grew up but had a couple of hours to spare tonight. Overall its a really good game but the final boss sucks. The game goes into a first person view in a space ship while you try to shot down the bosses ship and avoid his millions of bombs. Too me two months, but I finally did it! Sure the game has more glitches than there are birds in the sky, but I had a blast playing through it all. Not my favorite Star Wars game, but definitely my favorite story in a Star Wars game. I hear the game, as a whole, pales in comparison to the first so maybe I should give that one a shot some day. UPDATE: TimeSplitters 2 (or "Quantum Leap: The Game" as I like to call it) has been beaten! A MUCH better story mode experience than the first game. Gone are the bare bones "grab the time crystal and get out" missions and, instead, we get levels that follow more of the Goldeneye 007 mold. Actually, a lot of things from this game follow that mold. Even the health bar is identical. I know these games weren't developed by Rareware, so does anyone else have an explanation for this? Thanks in advance! UPDATE: Adventure 2 on Diddy Kong Racing has been beaten! Save for the silver coin challenge in Greenwood Village (which was just flat out unfair), I had a blast finally conquering this mode. Unfortunately, the ending doesn't change, but the journey there more than made up for it. Good stuff.

Gameboy advance: Pok`emon silver, somone sold me a copy for $10 and lied about it saving. had to install my own battery but it was still worth it. working on emerald and metroid fuzion aswell. |
