Two more games completed this month... PixelJunk Monsters and Back to the Future: The Game. Both great!! And both have been in my backlog for YEARS.

PJ Monsters was probably one of the first tower defense games to come out, and (though I've not played many in the genre) I'd say it's still one of the best! As for Back to the Future... I figured what better way to celebrate the day Doc & Marty go to the future (Oct. 21, 2015) than to start playing the BttF game! :w00t:

Also... EGADS!!! :eh: I realize I never posted my completion of Journey on the PS4 back in August!! It was an ABSOLUTELY, STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL game, in seriously every imaginable way. If you haven't played it (and I KNOW many of you haven't), I IMPLORE you... try to find some way to play it some day... borrow a friend's PS3/PS4 if you have to, it's SO WORTH IT! It was an extra special game completion for me as well, as it marked my 100th PSN game, and upon completing it, the first time my PSN profile was back to 100% completion since... 2010. 100/100 at 100%! :w00t:

How do you get 100% on everything?! The closest I've come to is 93% over the course of a MONTH!
Buen trabajo, "gato de piso"!

EDIT months later:
To anyone that doesn't understand my ending to it, it's that floorcat's cat is named Gato de Piso, Spanish for Cat of the floor or rather Floorcat. I finished off in Spanish to reflect that.

It translates to,
Good job, floorcat!

Haha, thanks Bamboozled! ^_^
And believe me... sometimes it takes me FAR LONGER than a month to build up the motivation to get 100% in some of my games... case in point:

Uncharted 3: 3 years, 9 months
L.A. Noire: 3 years, 8 months
Dark Souls: 3 years, 3 months
Assassin's Creed: Revelations: 3 years, 1 month
ICO: 3 years, 1 day
Saints Row: The Third: 2 years, 9 months
Red Dead Redemption: 2 years, 1 month
Grand Theft Auto IV: 1 year, 6 months

And these two, while not very long as far as time-span is concerned, took me about this long to 100% after playing nearly EVERY. SINGLE. DAY:
Gran Turismo 5: 3 months, 2 days (Literally played this every single day for 3 months STRAIGHT!!)
Max Payne 3: 2 months, 6 days
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Demon's Crest has been beaten! It may have been a day after October ended (it was beaten last night), but better late than never! While this is the worst game in the series in my opinion, it is also one of the best games on the Super Nintendo. Seriously, get all three Gargoyle's Quest games off of the eShop (those last two especially) for a unique platforming experience.

UPDATE: Wild 9 has been beaten! A flawed game for sure, but a fun one nonetheless. Nothing like slamming an enemy back and forth while he gobbles like a turkey. :P Another recommendation from me.

I took a little N64 break while my Nintendo thumb healed and finished The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. It took a few weeks, but I got nearly everything and did it with NO guide, magazine, or ANY internet assistance!

As much as I loved the Windwaker, this game holds up as a great sequel. It also had some moments reminiscent of A Link to the Past, which was fantastic!
The gameplay utilizes almost 100% screen use, so be sure to use a protector.

As for the remaining secrets, i plan to get 100% without any help.

-The Walking Dead Season 1- Very interesting storyline, and I love how the choices you make affect everything after. Choosing to stick a pitchfork into [an, the] *evildoer*? Clementine will remember that. Choosing to save Duck? Gonna cost you. Although it was more like an interactive movie, I would still play it. I can't review it that much without spoilers, so I'll leave it at 87%.

Just beaten MOH: Underground on the PS1. Nice play through. Again as with MOH quite a linear game (not as linear as the first) but still pretty much. I'm in the middle of playing a few other games at the moment: Perfect Dark, Resident Evil Revelations 2 and I also want to move on to MOH Frontline on the GC.

Just beaten Super Mario Bros on the Snes. Not played this in donkey's years. I have to confess, I did skip to world 4 and then on to world 8. Crazy how you still remember where everything is. Comes from playing the crap out of it as a kid I suppose. Great trip down memory lane.

Just a side note - recently picked up a Snes. Sold mine years ago because everything was loose and I always wanted to get a nice complete one. I'll show it off once a few more things arrive.

True gamers right here ^

I wish I could achieve things like this clearing that many games, but lately I get mad when I die in a game lol.. no idea why I did not had this in the past.

But I did cleared COD Black Ops 3. while my little bro was watching.. try to explain this story to someone with downsyndrom ..yeah that was not really possible. (even I don`t understand it ...)

Anyways it was fun but some bugs in the game and a really really weird story.

Also weird: you can unlock certain weapons in singleplayer which are for 'rank' 20, but I cleared the game on medium difficulty and I got rank 13... whot?

Decided to play Battle for Naboo what with it being the game of the month a little while ago. Never played much of it before but i did enjoy it, not as good as rouge squadron but still a decent game. :yeah: I'm hoping these sleepless nights with the new addition to the family will let me complete a few more games X_D :D

Edit: Finished Peggle on the PC too, really enjoyed this game, good to play when you have a few minutes to spare which turned into a few hours

Woah, Matt's beat Minecraft!

@EnvyFox
Can you say more about Kingdom Hearts? I haven't considered looking into it, but now that you've beat it I will admit that I'm a bit intrigued.

I'm probably not the best person to ask about that. I have a very tough time trying to explain things in a way that makes sense. You might want to look up someone else's review for that. All I can say is, if you're worried that the story will lose you, well... it will at points, but you unlock summaries of the past games along your adventure. And, if you don't want these other games spoiled for you, these summaries are completely optional to read.

I still say get Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 because they're such great games! I like Chain of Memories, too, but the combat in that game works differently and the game can only be recommended to those with specific tastes.

Just beaten DK Country on the SNES. Brilliant playing through this for the first time in years. Love it. I have 2 & 3 purchased on the way so will look to play through those in due course. I also want to beat DK Country Returns on the Wii as I haven't played that much although I have it. I also should take a crack at DK 64 as well!

I played this one a little on the demo pods, and instantly liked it. Got the amiibo bundle for my birthday from my girlfriend 2 months back. Started playing a few days back and cleared fast. Played all main levels and about half the bonus levels. Cleared it with 180 diamonds, so I atill have alot of work for the 100% task, but for now added to the list; Captain Toad Treasure Tracker for the WiiU

WiiU
Mario Kart 8
Hyrule Warriors
Call of Duty Black Ops II
Catain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Just beaten Streets of Rage II on the Sega Megadrive / Genesis. Great fun to play though. I did have to utilise both of my continues though so not a clean clear but still great fun. Used Axel - love his punching and kicking.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty was a great experience! I love the different options you can take towards things. You can come in, hide and crawl to get to your destination, only tranquilizing people, or you could rush in, guns blazing, get what you came for, and get out. The storyline, but most particularly the end, was a bit preachy but didn't quite ruin the experience. Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but I hated how much of an acid trip the end was. However, the variety was enjoyable. In all, I would love to give this a 100%, but the end was just enough to make me say 95%. I'd recommend this to anyone old enough to play!

Assassin's Creed II

This is probably my most over due update yet. Super Mario Maker has been beaten! Well the 10 Mario Challenge levels, to be exact. I've beaten every single last one of those pre-made levels and then went on to take down the four unlockable Nintendo World Championship 2015 courses (those were tricky to figure out). They've all helped me get some ideas and made me want to create some levels more in-line with the main 2D Mario series along with the gimmicky courses I've already cooked up (I really seem to like springs). And, of course, this gets my recommendation if you ever wanted to build your own levels or try other people's creations.

Around 9 months ago I cracked into Battlefield 3 and lasted a few levels before I drifted on to something else. Well, as of this evening, I have completed the campaign of Battlefield 3. It was fun, although I found its story to be a little complicated for my taste. I enjoy that these games that are known more for their multiplayer still manage to pull off a decent campaign.

Finished Hyrule warriors last night and it was one of my surprise games of the year. My wife brought it for me as I'm a big zelda fan but I didn't think i would enjoy it too much. I was wrong, its so much fun battling so many enemies at once and the fighting never got boring. Would recommend this game to Zelda and action game fans :yeah:

Harvest Moon 64 has been beaten! This is a game that I thought I had beaten in the past, but, after seeing the cutscene + end credits on the Summer of Year 3, my friend and I both concluded that this was a first for us. I can completely understand if fans of the newer games in the series turn their noses up at this one since a few things haven't aged well (identical items taking up multiple spaces in the rucksack, no fast cycle through tools, ect.) but, to me, it will always be one of my favorite games on the N64 and I do truly do believe that, even without my nostalgia goggles at full force, the game does hold up enough to warrant a recommendation. :yeah:
