That really makes me mad because rosalina is the only amiibo that i have failed to get a preorder on and people like him are the reason i cannot

So since we're getting a Nintendo Direct tomorrow, I expect them to announce maybee reprints of WFT, Villager, and Marth as well as announce Wave 4. I realllly hope Ness is in this one as I NEEEED him haha. |

I preordered super mario amiibos and wave 4, I think that super mario amiibos will be rare since it is red stands and toad is only amiibo with the less supported titles and I believe that toad will be rare |

I found out something rather strange about Amiibos today. They don't seem to be as popular in Germany. I'm just giving my two bits on this because I'm reading posts everywhere that certain Amiibos are sold out. I don't collect Amiibos, but I went to the all the major game stores in my area today to do some other gaming related shopping and realized that all the Amiibos of every wave were available from 12-15€. Saturn and Media Markt (comparable to Best Buy) literally had walls full of them. I realized that Marth and Villager were a little rarer, but ALL Amiibos were available in every store. Amazon Germany is also still selling every one for normal prices (except Little MAC), so you might want to order from there, if demand in other countries is so high that prices are exploding or they are not available. I had a hunch that my local electronics emporium might "pre-launch" Wave 3 today and took a quick peek to score if i could pick a Rosalina  But they had not received any - plenty of Bowsers, Toon Links and the rest but no Rosalina! Why does the world hate me so much? Anywoo, to soothe my frazzled feelings i picked up Toon Link (very nice!), Sheik and Ike(?). Can't afford them - the price just went up to 14.99 again, what a coincidink - so i'll probably end up selling or trading one or two and i think these will be the hardest to find except for Rosalina |

Found Rosalina already YESTERDAY, but the packaging was damaged to  so I didn't bother. Picked up Sheik though, so I'm still a happy man.

I had only a lil luck managed to get my lucario and a rosalina at target. sadly though my lucario was a preorder and i was gonna get more but a big fat dude bear hugged about 2 rows of pegs 0.0 snatching up all non Lucario pre orders.Though if anyone is wanting rosalina she is on target's website right now, so get her before she sells out!

I bought an Amiibo this weekend, Link  I don't collect Amiibos, although I got one Marth for me when I got one for MKII just because (Kept it in box and I'm going to sell it), and I've decided I wanted one to use in Sm4sh, so I got a Link. Funny story, I told my girlfriend I wasn't gonna use it right away because I saw a way to remove the foil and keeping the Amiibo in the box (yeah, crazy me). She called me a nerd (thank you very much) and said if I didn't open the toy she would! I said "lol I'll hide it!". After a pause she stares at me and said "If you don't open it, I'll open Marth". I felt true fear my friends...

Looks like Nintendo are taking another page out of the Skylanders playbook with painted variants making their way in the near future! Like Skylanders, those variants are sure to command pretty outrageous prices, especially if they are distributed in a similar way (randomly packed in and shipped with regular versions of the toys). |

I have a hunch toon link is gonna end up like the diddy kong amiibos, hard to find when he's released 1 - 2 months later. he's everywhere! you found a damaged box rosalia? bet you coulda got double the $ on ebay for that or used it for a trade item, if the box wasnt heavily damaged. |

Really? That can't be true. There are lot's of "Buy it now" Marths around +30€. Besides, given my hate for the jerks buying and reselling for the profit, I'd feel like a hypocrite doing the same (even though it's not really the same...). I'm gonna get link out of the box because I didn't know we had to read the amiibo so many times during gameplay lol it's getting annoying using it in the box and I'm considering unboxing Marth also and using it What do you mean by "his figure is released"? |

Anyone looking for Toon Link and Sheik Gamestop has them on their website right now. I know they've been sold out for a while and I haven,t seen them in any stores, May be more available in other places though. |

It is going to be a free-for-all for the Gold Marios. I can see grabbing a few to sell (at a fair price) to folks here who may not have a chance at purchasing one, but looking at the comments to the nintendolife article on this Wal-Mart exclusive, the re-sellers are ready to hoard away and fund their kids' college tuition.  I'm really not feeling the amiibo right now. I've got Samus and DK literally surrounded by a hoard of Infinity and Skylander characters that have way more utility (and have captured the imaginations of my kids). |

Right with you on that... my wallet and I are both sooooooo glad I never started down that dark path, having not an ounce of desire for anything amiibo. It will be a never-ending money-suck/battle with online scalpers. No end in sight. And now, single-run, retailer-exclusive, limited edition amiibos? I feel sorry for you all, amiibo collectors & fans. Good luck with that.

Im hoping the gold mario comes bundled with the Mario Party 10 pre-order so I dont have to search for one. Also If Anyone needs Amiibos that they cant find Id be willing to get them and sell them close to cost (Cost plus shipping and a small gas fee since the nearest store is 40 minutes away) to other members as long as they are not turning them for a profit, or trade for Amiibos I don't have. Theres a lot of Toon link and Shiek around me and supposedly more fox and lucarios are coming in saturday to my Toys R Us. Also has anyone seen that Toys R Us is going to start selling custom Amiibos for around $80 bucks? if you could get me a lucario or meta knight, i'd literally jaw drop. I also am willing to help other members here aquire amiibos as well. Anything to stop those scalpers from reselling nintendo products and to help someone out. I will sell mine for less then ebays average rate as per my consideration. Honestly, I've spent so much money in Skylanders already (and I've still got plenty more to get) that I can't even think of entering the Amiibo game either. Space is one issue already, having all those toys takes up an incredible amount of room, but with the rarity of some toys (in both the Amiibo and Skylander lines) I can't imagine attempting to collect both toy lines seriously. Disney Infinity isn't one I have much knowledge of, but it seems their toys are reasonably easy to find, purchase and collect for which is great for anyone, really. |

Yesterday I went to buy my Sonic Amiibo and now I have all the Amiibos I want, Marth, Link and Sonic. Although I'm considering a team of 4 Amiibos, so I might consider Mr. G&W when he comes out. |
