Everyone is compressed it two small areas. Total mayhem, lol. You guys find that shady character in the corner of the Plaza that sells stuff out of the alley? I had no idea what my kids were talking about . . . but another cool way to upgrade your gear . . . .

Them plates of printed plastic are big in Japan so they make a very nice return with a minimal investment. Of course, if & when Splatoon turns out to be extremely succesfull (like when it starts to shift lots of extra consoles), Nintendo is sure to look into the feasability of a handheld version.

It end today and I wanted to know if someone tried it out to see if it worth it. Oh nevermind. "This bundle cannot be redeemed on a console from your region. Are you sure you want to proceed?" To quote AVGN, "BS! What a bunch of FK BS!". What's the deal with region lock, jeez.... Member #381 Joined: November 7, 2010	OK, so i really love Splatoon - my trigger finger already has a severe case of Nintendonitis - and think it looks really nice. But the loading screen? (the one with the Inkling bedroom) it's really sub-standard, it looks like it was done by a trainee without any artistic ability and a 15 minute deadline. BTW: my splat record now stands at 17 so if you join me in a match, prepare to dye!

Do you snipe, or sneak around or attack with the roller/kraken?? I finally earned my aerosprayer last night. had to play the single player when fun awaits online, but a knuckled down and did it. And then had to earn enough coins to buy it Put up a string of 1,000+ with the gold aerosprayer (and INK STRIKE!!), but not many kills. But I did win a few showdowns that I surely would have lost with any other weapon. With all the angst over yesterday's E3, I find it comforting that Splatoon rocks, and Nintendo keeps updating it (two more weapons added last night). I also love how the game keeps changing. The Kraken was so dominant a few weeks ago, but now you can swim away; much less of a force IMHO. Yeah, I'll be playing this one for a long time. Anyone unlock the Gold Roller yet?

But the ranking itself is very hit and miss of course. i've gone from a healthy C+ 70 to C- 0 in just one session! All good fun though and i'm not really bothered about losing face. 17/6 is quite good - exceptional really for a sucky player like me! - but i've since improved the ratio with a 11/0. I use the N-Zap and Burst Bombs. I like to sneak around the sideways and back alleys so i can shoot you in the back I also like to take out campers who think they're in a safe position

Regrettably, we were never all placed on the same team. But my oh my is Boomdiers silly good at the game. He posted an 1800+ in one match and won them all. So it was a thrill being on his team the few times we were paired together for several reasons Kel did some nice work with the paint brush, too. We never got paired though I'm heading out of town for a few days, so I'm gonna miss the first Splatfest. No snail shells for me. Who's playing? Cat or Dog?

My best by FAR. The other team had 2 over-eager rollers who just could not stay out of the splat zones. Easy pickings for me and my purty golden Aerosprayer! Rank still a C. Almost reached C+ but a few studs entered my last two battles for the other team. Favorite tactic of theirs: In the Warehouse, they set up the Killer Whale so that it fired upon the crates between our pad and the splat zone. Deadly and impressive.

Racing for Fulcon Capital Posts: 9,323 Group: Admin Member #281 Joined: March 8, 2010	Well, my fortunes changed for the worse last night. Nearly made it to B- rank, then crashed down to a C. Like Mario Kart 8, there are certain stages that cater to certain weapons (which is cool). My aerosprayer was nearly worthless in the Kelp Dome and the Mall, where the guys with longer range weapons just dominated the splat zones. Salt Rig tougher too. But especially the Mall, where the only thing I could hope to do was to splat them from their perches with an Inkstrike. Eventually in MK8, you learn the courses so well (at 150 cc at least), that you learn to deal with the vehicle of your choice. So I think the stages probably offer viable strategies with any weapon, just need to figure it out (as I'm guessing Boomdiers and MKII all ready have ).

I use the N-Zapper and it suits my playing style just fine - or did my style evolve around the weapon? And i just love to sneak behind those long-range splatters who think they're invulnerable and shoot 'm in the back.

Fell out of 3 ranked battles (and lost 10 points each time!), and dropped from a turf war or two. But I think it had to due with the 1.3 update. Read elsewhere to reset my router, which I will do. TOWER CONTROL TONIGHT!!! (Oh , crud, need to find an appropriate weapon...seems like the roller and the aerosprayer not going to be too helpful).

It's just what the doctor ordered... fast and furious with no place to hide (and no practical use for long-range splatters!) And so are the sound trucks (in the plaza). Nintendo is definitely all in with splatoon Only got to play tower twice before the courses changed, but it is as MK II advertised. I was a little lost; learning the nuances will take some time. I like how the Splatzones are still in the rotation...good choice.

The orange NES zapper and a wider paint brush are in quene . . . and I'm not looking forward to squaring off against that wider brush. Those 20-Rankers with the paint brushes really know how to use them and I fear this puppy is going to throw a bit more ink. My aerosprayer is getting woefully outdated, but I cannot seem to break the habit

Those brush wielders gave me smack-downs (splat-downs?) all weekend. Really different to go toe to toe with, even with defense up gear. My team waterslide lost Hoping there are some roller coaster fans here enjoying there double snail bonus.
