First, sorry for posting this on an forum. But this is the nicest place on the webs, so why not. Also, I need 64 mod help which can be applied to this. The PS1 had a attachment released that made the whole TV thing out of the window. But it's too darn expensive nowadays. I, for a long time, have been looking for it to make a portable 64 and to use with the PSone. So what I'm asking for is, does anyone know of a 3rd party one that does the same thing? Thanks for reading.

You talking about something like this from InterAct? It works great with my N64.![]() ![]() ![]() The LCD is not the same quality of modern LCDs. Poor by today’s standards. I have used this with a lot of the retro systems that I own. |

Not sure you want to know the specifics. I have just seen this on eBay with a PS1, total $39. Most of the time you can find it cheap. as I have said, this monitor is of a poorer quality than the official Sony one. It works if you just want to have a small monitor, but it is unsatisfying if you are looking to get something sharp, crisp, and lack of graininess in your gaming. It is very grainy, fuzzy, but doable for just gaming. Not sure of the resolution, but I am sure it is somewhat comparable to the old tube style TVs. As you can see from my photos the screen can be attached to the PS1. It also has RCA plugs so that you can hook up other systems, like N64, Snes, PC Engine, etc. I will have time this weekend to hook up the N64 to it and post some pics. |

Wow, thanks both sanni and Retro Junkie! I think I will be purchasing that screen very soon! Cannot express my gratitude to you both, I've been looking for such a long time. @sanni The plugs look a bit weird. Would they work? Edited by Bamboozled, Nov 13 2015, 06:52 AM.

I'd presume the screen has the speaker hole-thingies.

That does look interesting. It does concern me that nothing is said about the audio. But at that price, what could you lose? $18.68? Provided that the "ePacket" gets to your door and no damage to the screen. I have had those ePackets before. I might look into this. Got me interested. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...

That $18 screen does not have audio, it was just an example that you can get a screen really cheap, there are many others like this on ebay. For audio you would need to buy a small speaker maybe like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111628940840 Edited by sanni, Nov 14 2015, 03:16 AM.
