In the last five months four of my nominations became GotM, this is very nice! :yeah:

Wipeout 64...I love this game.

My favourite aspect is the rewarding control system. At the beginning seems impossible to win races or even get the bronze in time trial mode, but when you learn the tracks turn by turn it's so rewarding improving, slow but inexorably, your times. All is about reflexes and timing.
It's fantastic that you can try a certain track unlimited times, without have to remade all the tracks before, ecc. So, even if the game is hard, it's never frustrating. You can try 30 times a gold time without getting nervous haha.

In this forum we have a dude who beaten the game in the incredibly hard Super Combo mode, the mighty Floorcat.

Wipeout 64 has a decent graphics (better than Wipeout 2097 but worst than Wip3out, which is very slow compared to Wo64) and a good soundtrack (but worst than Wipeout 2097).
The control system is by far the best in Wipeout games. And it was the first Wipeout game with a 4 player mode.
I also played Wipeout on Saturn back in days, but I don't liked it very much.

The only real flaw in Wipeout 64 is the lack of a championship mode.
