lately, i've found myself using my ps3 as a genuine "playstation all stars" console. the fact that you can play many games from the hard disk, means you can spare your disc reader right out of the box. and its all legal. the PS3 is the best playstation console yet. It offers PSone classics, ps2 HD remasters in addition to it's native PS3 games. the latter often feature "re-imagined" versions of well known classics such as duke nukem, alien versus predator, gran turismo, final fantasy, mortal kombat, street fighter etc. but with all the PSN games, this console really shines. currently i'm waiting for PSN versions of turok 1, turok 2 and powerslave a small grip on some of its best retro (inspired) games: psone classics: - final fantasy 6 - final fantasy 7 - vagrant story - metal gear solid - metal gear solid special missions - legacy of kain blood omen - legacy of kain soul reaver - castlevania symphony of the night - oddworld abe's oddysee PS2 HD classics: - beyond good & evil - resident evil 4 - metal gear solid 2 - metal gear solid 3 - grand theft auto san andreas - killzone ps3 retro inspired: - mortal kombat arkade kollection (MK1 + MK2 + UMK3) - super street fighter 2 HD remake - turok - duke nukem forever - resident evil 5 - aliens versus predator - red alert 3 - gran turismo 5 - goldeneye 007 - duke nukem 3D megaton edition - another world 20th anniversary - mortal kombat - street fighter 4 - wipeout HD fury also, the PS3 is the only console that offers every metal gear solid ever released. still my main console and it's for one simple fact: free online play. as long as they keep supporting it, it'll be my main one for years to come. I have no reason to upgrade to ps4 for now. there's no game in my sight except Rock Band 4 but I have so many things to do in the Rock Band series that there's no point to tackle RB4 just yet. HD games are good yes, but only if you buy the digital version. if you're buying disc, you can't dump the game on hdd (legally) and play without the disc like the 360 do. |

You aren't missing much... if you really want more Rock Band, your best bet is getting a 360 copy of Rock Band 3 with the EA logo and heading over to C3... |

Customs Creators, basically, the original pressing of the 360 version has the ability to play custom songs |
