Ok guys, new year, new games, some old ones too. Let's start knocking out some completions. I've got a few games on the go that I need to finish. Hopefully my 2016 will see some more game completions on my end. So you know what to do. List your games as you complete them here. Here's to a fantastic 2016 of gaming to everyone!!

Likewise, I have a few games on the go including DK Country 2 still. But I am pleased to announce yesterday and today I have smashed my way through Goldeneye 007 for the 64 completing 100% on 00 Agent and unlocking all 23 cheats and so unlocking 007 mode. What a way to start the year! Nice to know I've still got it. Hopefully the start of many more 64 titles this year. Edit: this really did not take long either - by far the fastest I've completed the game. I would have done in one sitting yesterday had I not needed to go out (got down to Cradle on 00 with all cheats unlocked only leaving Cradle, Aztec and Egyption to complete today). I'll start it with a semi-finished game and ongoing project. I Full Combo'ed the current 313 songs on Guitar Hero TV at 12:07 on January 1st on Casual(Easy) Guitar. I say current because they add songs every week so the total is always growing. |

Hooray, my first of the year! Fast Racing NEO (Championship Mode) Hypersonic was a trip and the last cup was giving me fits. The open air elevated ramp on the first course was giving me flashbacks of SWE1R's infamous Abyss track. But eventually I placed and cued the credits (and unlocked Hero Mode and a fun little extra). |

Sega Dreamcast - NEW Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 (Arcade Mode as Boris Knokimov) Well I didn't expect to post here so soon seeing as I'm only about halfway done with Xenoblade Chronicles X, but playing "a quick game" while waiting for my friend to call me back turned into a video game completion. Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 has been beaten and, in my opinion, it's even better than the first game thanks to more characters (like Shaquille O'Neal), two new stages of RUMBLE and a more entertaining (albeit easier) final boss. I'm so happy to say that my first completion of 2016 is a game I can fully recommend.

@sublime1996525 Nice completion, man. I really liked To Gear Overdrive, my only wish was that had slightly toned down the jump mechanic, as there's times when your car flies into the air on the slightest of hills, like your car was made of paper or something.  That spoiled an otherwise really good game. Blistering fast though, loved that!

Hi Matt. I'm on the second episode now and I'm enjoying it but can sense things getting darker now. I know this is going to pull a massive plot twist and ask me to make some rough choices but at the moment I've no idea what they'll be. And that's cool, trying to avoid any spoilers so it can have the full impact.

Ok, I'm adding Fallout 4 to this list. The main story and a heck of a lot of the side quests have been done. But I don't think I'll be going back to it for a while. I'm not really a 100% complete gamer anyway. Sega Dreamcast - Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 (Arcade Mode as Boris Knokimov) Nintendo GameCube - NEW Sonic R (100% completion) (played on Sonic Gems Collection) Another unexpected completion! Sonic R has been 100% completed and, to be honest, I don't know what took me so long. The process of collecting and unlocking everything was fairly easy. Anyway, this might be a guilty pleasure of mine, but that still doesn't mean I should recommend it to people. If you are going to play this one, be absolutely sure you treat your racer like a car instead of an animal... person.

First one of the year for me, PS4 MORTAL KOMBAT X STORY. Love the Mortal Kombat games and some of the new characters they introduced are pretty good. Jax and Sub-zero are still my favorite though |

Went back and beat Guns'N'Zombies again on Hell (hardest) difficulty and finished all mini missions in the game. Also beat Metal Slug and finally beat Gauntlet. PC Guns'N'Zombies (Hell difficulty 100% Completion) Metal Slug Gauntlet Edited by Pimpin Mainer, Jan 22 2016, 08:42 PM.

The one plus to working super hard but still not succeeding at finishing a game in the previous year means a head start in the next year!  I was reeeeeaaaally hoping to finish PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate HD in 2015 but just barely couldn't make it, and was somewhat close to finishing Splinter Cell: Blacklist... so both now count towards my 2016 completions. Both are EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT games... highly recommended. Splinter Cell: Blacklist might just be my #1 favorite game played in 2015 (AND 2016!)... super tuned gameplay mechanics, impressive graphics, intriguing plot, and SUPERB co-op made for a great time. Hard to believe it came out almost 3 years ago!games/DLC finished this year: 01/01 - PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate HD (100%) 01/11 - Splinter Cell: Blacklist (100%) |

@floorcat, I thought the same about Splinter Cell Blacklist. It was a sleeper of a good game for me. I picked it up when it was released and was surprised by the quality. Needless to say I'm anticipating the release of the next game in the series now, whenever that may be!!

@Dee... I know, RIGHT?!?? I was amazed at how perfect the levels and gameplay were laid out so seamlessly, almost every stage providing a fun playground of infiltration to suit basically ANY playstyle... I felt it did stealth even better than Hitman, but also had extremely solid 3PS gameplay such that it's still possible to go in guns-a-blazin'.  Now planning on playing all the previous games in the series...

Jet Force Gemini - I still can't believe I actually finished it. Perfect Dark - finished on Special Agent. Still find the Xbox controls a bit fiddly but still got through it in an afternoon. It helps knowing all the levels and what to do. |
